Very nice design and color scheme, the warm earthy woods with the neutral contemporary looks good. The outdoor bar under the lanai is a nice touch to the pool area.

In the fall, we purchased a home that was 22 years old and in dire need of updating. We met with Lori in early November to discuss the project. Lori wanted to know our style, things we liked and disliked. After the meeting we sent Lori color palettes we collected on Pinterest and Houzz. Within a few days Lori came back with wood flooring and paint samples that were perfect. The same day, we went to a granite store followed by a lighting store. We picked out the granite for the new countertops, tile for the backsplash, new light fixtures and fans. This all happened in a 7 hour time frame. We were extremely pleased. Lori worked with our general contractor overseeing the project to ensure all of the changes were made. Next came furnishing the house. This phase took place long distance, with us at home in the Chicago area. Lori sent us recommendations on furniture for all rooms and the lanai, along with window treatments, draperies, valances, rugs and accessories. There were only a few items that needed an alternative recommendation. Lori and her team were very easy to work with, attentive and timely in responding. Lori Manning Designs comes with our highest recommendation.

Where do we begin? Rick and I spent a great deal of time trying to find the right words to express our appreciation to the entire design team. From the moment we walked into our home we were thrilled by the furniture choices, fixtures and drapes. You listened carefully to our suggestions, offered your ‘decorator skills’ and guided us in decision-making. We never could have done this by ourselves! In addition, we truly appreciate the time you took to set things in place, select and install the bathroom mirrors, coordinate the faux painting, and see to the installation of the fans and lighting fixtures. This resulted in an amazing first-time entrance into our home. During this past week we have especially enjoyed the comfortable nook seating, and the way the fabrics on our couches and chairs complement each other. As we put finishing touches on the backbone now in place, our home will be all we’d hoped for. Thank you for playing such a key part in the process! Lori Manning Designs (LMD) did an incredible job on a second home i purchased in Florida.
