Excellent firm that is willing to work with you closely through all the stages of the project. We found Mikhail professional, punctual, and friendly. He was very patient at listening to our thoughts and letting us know whether or not they will work, and suggesting possible options, and giving us some very good ideas. His knowledge and recommendations helped us to gain a better understanding of our visions. I would not hesitate to recommend LMS Design to anyone for remodeling or designing a new house.

The architect was friendly and responsive, however he relied on us to provide the flow of creative ideas and the layout, instead of offering solutions from his professional experience. We ended up with lots of wasted space, not optimal room layout, non-standard sizes of lumber, all these issues were pointed out to us by a number of individuals experienced with construction. Luckily the project has not yet started, so we are going to completely re-do with another professional.

Dear domik15, we appreciate your feedback. This project was a result of close and very productive collaboration with the client during 5 months of design process. Multiple options, including 3D renderings, were provided and thoroughly discussed. Then with the final approval from the client, the set of construction documents were issued for the permit in October 2015.

Six months later the client had a new vision of the house, which indeed required to change the original design completely. Unfortunately, we couldn’t accept the conditions on which the client expected us to make these changes.

We know that perception of the architecture is very subjective. There is always more than one opinion on space organization and functionality, structural solution, materials selection etc. We appreciate and deeply respect the right of anyone to follow an individual opinion of his/her choice.

We sincerely regret the situation and wish the domik15 the best of luck with implementation of there new vision.

My experience with LMS Design, LCC was a first and hopefully not a last. Mikhail was very professional, flexible and patience. He walked me through the entire process from start to finish. He kept it real and honest about any pros or any cons. To see your dreams take life was amazing. Did I mentioned affordable? If not, Yes! I would recommend LMS Design, LCC again and again.

Mikhail is an incredible designer. He is extremely creative in finding solutions to the problems that you face. He has designed a beautiful home for us. His ability of 3D modeling helped us to make a right choice among different options. He also gave us many interesting interior ideas including ceiling design, custom staircase railing and wine cellar shelving. We would hire him again on any project we do in the future.

Mik did an absolutely amazing job on the addition to our house. He worked very closely with us - he listened, he asked questions, and only then he provided his thoughts on how to better implement our ideas architecturally, without sacrificing too much. I had my reservations if having an addition that wouldn't look like one would be feasible - he pulled it off. On top of that, I really like his take on the modern design! He was very professional, very patient, and I would gladly hire him again.

Mikhail visited our lot, met with us several times so that we could describe our living style and features we wanted to see in our new home. He suggested several ideas, one of them later turned into a complete design of the house. There were challenges due to steep slopes, a pond and lack of buildable space on the lot. Mikhail was very sensitive to the environment, numerous tall trees and overall landscape were preserved. It was a joy to work with him. We would do it again without hesitation.

I had an extraordinary experience working with Mikhail Sudnitsyn. His creativity and attention to details made the whole project a delight. I couldn't be happier with the plan that Mikhail created. It was wonderful to work with a designer who truly listened to me and heard what I was asking for. I feel that my home truly is a reflection of my initial vision and expectations.
