About Us

The Talley Company was incorporated in Columbus, Georgia in 1993 as a General Contracting company addressing mostly residential renovations, additions, and new home construction. Muscogee County was consolidated by the city of Columbus which required mandated testing for General Contractors under the Southern Building Code; however, in 2008, the state of Georgia joined other states across the country requiring building contractors to become state certified according to documentation of previous project completions. The Talley Company was allocated a Residential and Light Commercial status through the process which allowed residential construction and commercial projects up to three stories.

We used Les and his team in 2019 to completely remodel our master bathroom, closets and bedroom as well build out a bar area in our kitchen. From the design stage to completion, I could not be more pleased with the project and the way everything turned out. Les brought ideas to the table that we had not even considered, like an infinity drain for the shower and sourced a few unique pieces to really elevate the project and add some artistic touches. All of his tradesman and subs that he brings to the project are at the top of their trade, they work well together, consistently deliver high quality work and are professional. Another reviewer said it best, “Corners are never cut, and the end product is wonderful”. We will definitely use Les on future projects.

We have hired The Talley Company to help us with three renovation projects during the last twelve years. The most recent one was a complete kitchen renovation in 2013. Les was always professional and very helpful by providing the needed information to make important decisions. I appreciated his efforts to bring in quality people throughout the project. We are enjoying our new kitchen and updated bathroom.

The Talley Company more than met our expectations and we couldn't be happier! Our new kitchen is exactly what we wanted. Les Talley and all of his associates were always pleasant, efficient and cooperative. The quality of their workmanship is obvious in every corner of the room. There was great communication throughout every step, and we always felt like we were heard and updated. Crazy touches that we asked for were figured out and implemented without hesitation. Corners were never cut, and the end product is wonderful. I would recommend the Talley Company to anyone, and hope to use them again on our next update.

We first hired Mr Talley 11 years ago for a kitchen and bath remodel. We have continued to call him for various projects and continue to be pleased with his work. He is very attentive to detail and responsive.

The Tally Company has done work for us on several occasions. Each time we have been VERY pleased. Mr. Talley's goal is to do what THE Customer WANTs and not the other way around. Quality and service-- What Les does best!!

We fully renovated our kitchen, bathroom and laundry room with The Talley Company. The owner, Les, was a true pleasure to work with. I have been so pleased with the high quality of his and his team's work throughout the remodel. Les is punctual, knowledgeable and most importantly - he does what he says he is going to do! To top it all off he has an extremely friendly and easy to talk to personality. You can tell that he truly cares about his clients. I highly recommend Les and will use The Talley Company on my next project.

Les provides great value, attention to detail, and is good at holding subs accountable for the quality of their work. He is especially good at presenting options to the homeowner and abiding by the owner's decision, making sure the owner understands the options and costs. Our kitchen is especially great, the focal gathering place which looks good and functions well. We have used Les for several projects; from a rebuild/addition of an early 1900's home to new construction of a 4,000 sf home and recommend without hesitation.

I have Les for over 20 years and when I want professional, excellent work he is the one I call. I have referred him to several of my clients that need remodeling in the past years. He remodeled my bathroom which turned into remodeling the other bathroom, then refurbishing my kitchen and converting my double carport to a garage. He did an excellent job, finished it when he said he would and cleaned up every night. He has great ideas that helped make my remodeling easy!!

I found Mr. Les Talley and all of his staff to be very professional, punctual and very knowledgeable in the reconstruction of my home. I have used him time and time again on various remodeling projects and have recommended him to several of my friends. I value his knowledge and his superb workmanship and that he was very easy to work with. I highly recommend him and respect him greatly!

The Talley Company always comes through. Les Talley is one to under-promise and over-deliver, which is a fantastic trait in a contractor. As an owner and landlord of an really old remodeled train station, our issues are never simple or clear cut. Les and The Talley Company approach the challenges we put in front of them with much thought and preparation. The quality of work and post job support is outstanding.

Les Talley and his associates at the Talley Company did a wonderful job on the renovation of my 1945 bungalow. Les is always professional but fun to deal with, as well. He has followed up with me since the completion of my remodel and I know that I can call him with any concerns or questions. His subs are very capable and all did a great job. They always cleaned up at the end of each day! I would highly recommend the Talley Company to anyone.
