Established in 1960 as Leo Thieneman Co., we have developed a long-standing reputation for quality and integrity in the homebuilding industry. I have built two homes with Leo Thieneman, Jr. and would build a third if my husband would let me! He is a true professional and most importantly, a man of his word. In this world we live in, that is saying a lot. He uses reputable subcontractors, designers, and quality materials and is very hands-on. His family-owned company has been in business for over 50 years, however, Leo never rests on his laurels, he continues to educate himself with the latest trends, materials, and technologies. When you work with him, you immediately know that he is passionate about building your home, specific to your needs, as if he were building it as his own.

I have had the pleasure of working with The Thieneman's for the past 5 years as their Interior Designer......Since then they have built me 2 homes and I plan on building more homes with them in the future. You just can't get any better than Mike and Leo. EVERY single client has the most amazing experience building a home with them. By the end of the process Mike and Leo are more like family. The more and more clients I meet with I find out how many have built 2 or more homes with Leo and Mike. The reason is the quality, craftsmanship, and working with these two! I HIGHLY recommend building with them and know the experience would be AMAZING!

From our initial interview to the completion of our beautiful new home, the Thienemans were professional and attentive to our needs and concerns. Not only was Mike wonderful to work with, but his design team and other building professionals could not have been more helpful. We would highly recommend this builder and his team to anyone considering building in the Louisville area.
