I loved working with Miller Design, LLC. This was my first major renovation, and I was overwhelmed with the many steps needed. Diane was timely in drawing up the plans, and she gave me a step by step in what was needed for the paperwork filings. I highly recommend working with this company.

Keith has designed two projects for my home and each has been excellent. The first was a totally redesigned kitchen and he came up with a wonderful design. The second was trickier because we had to go before the Cambridge Zoning Board for approvals. Keith did a wonderful job anticipating what the Board would approve and what it would not. As a result, we sailed through the approval process and now have a beautiful addition to our home.

Our project was a complete renovation of the primary bathroom in our 1890s Victorian. The bathroom had not been updated since the 1980s. Within a limited amount of space they were able to give us everything we wanted, including a large custom steam shower and a toilet room. They were even able to find space for a desperately needed linen closet. Keith and Dianne not only designed an incredible bathroom that gave us everything we asked for in a small space, but they also worked directly with the (notoriously difficult) historic board to gain approval for some exterior modifications that were necessary for the design we chose. We will absolutely using Miller design for future projects.

Diane Miller was the designer of our major gut/reno/addition project in Belmont. She took our single story 850 sq. ft. ranch from the 1950’s, which has been in the family for three generations, and turned it into a beautiful 2,100 sq. ft. two story house with craftsman characteristics. From the beginning of the design process, Diane listened to our wants and needs and was able to integrate everything we wanted within the tight constraints of our property and to the satisfaction of the Town’s Planning Board. We wanted an open floor plan with natural flow, lots of natural light, and a large kitchen for gathering. Diane delivered in her plans and the results blew our expectations away. Diane was extremely knowledgeable of the Planning Board process and town bi-laws and was able to set expectations for us early on, so we were able to keep our original design throughout the entire Planning Board process. Diane gave us a great contractor recommendation which made the construction process that much easier since they had a great working relationship. With her on-time delivery, professionalism, and creative design solutions, my husband and I would recommend Diane to anyone who needs a home architect, especially in the Belmont area.

Highly recommend Diane's architecture and design services! She worked with us on a residential project to finish a completely unfinished attic. She presented multiple good options, gave great advice throughout the design phase, helped us navigate the town's permitting process, and was responsive to questions from our contractor during the build phase. Working with her was a great experience!

Working with Diane was one of the best decisions we made while renovating our home in Belmont. She worked with us to re-design the second floor of a two-family house which included adding a dormer. Keith is wonderful, and helped to think creatively to solve our tricky, unexpected structural concern that we uncovered during demo. He was responsive, helpful and clearly well versed in residential architecture and permitting. Was a team player with my contractor which was very appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Keith Miller did a fantastic job completing the design of our 2nd floor renovations and 3rd floor addition. He prepared three detailed, aesthetically pleasing and architecturally sound designs that both met our needs and the restrictions of our town. After choosing the design of our choice, he guided us through the permit process in a friendly and effective manner. (He also recommended a GC who we are very pleased with). We couldn't be happier with the project and would recommend his services in a heartbeat.

Thanks to Diane Miller and Miller Designs I have the kitchen of my dreams! Through her clever design, Diane did an amazing job at creating a first floor that meets all our needs, incorporating our existing living space while creating new spaces like a full bathroom, laundry room and game room!
