Kerstin Bro Egelund

I am a textile designer who works mainly with print and interior design. I tend always to look for the neglected space. A place with an important function but neglected when it comes all kind of sense impression and human values. People who use the room, the function of the room and how the surroundings affect the users inspire me. My approach to design and the design process is a very analytic and theoretical research but also very playful and intuitive. Chaos inspires me to create beauty and aesthetic. As well as I like to influence the surroundings with my design. The nature inspires me a lot and I am very fascinated by creating depth and changeability to my design by working with light and shadows in the textile expression.
