We hired Katz Builders for a fairly comprehensive remodel of our home, including a new kitchen, updates to the master bedroom, great room and dining room, and a slew of interior and exterior maintenance items (new roof, windows, etc). We are thrilled with the results and appreciate the great care and craftsmanship of the work. There were a lot of moving parts to the project, complicated by the fact that the project was being done during the Covid pandemic. The Katz team were terrific throughout the process.

We have worked on many small renovation projects on our house with Katz and we couldn't be happier. The subcontractors they work with are the highest quality and they always get their work done in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone needing large, small, or full home renovations!

Our house needed a complete makeover on the interior including floors, painting, lighting, and complete kitchen and master bath remodel, as well as many repairs. It was a big job with a lot of moving parts. The Katz team helped us plan the project and work out all the details up front so that the job could be performed as we wanted and without budget surprises. They communicated with us on a regular basis throughout the project and were a joy to work with. We are very happy with our ‘new’ home.

Katz Builders finished a complete remodel of the interior our home in December 2019. We are so very grateful that the finished product is beautiful, well-crafted and was done before the pandemic started. They really worked with us to get back into the house as soon as possible when our short-term rental was ending. The end product made every room more livable and added much needed living space for our kids. We had a great relationship with our foreman who anticipated almost every question and concern we had during the process. Further, we feel blessed to have worked with Joel and Lucy who deeply care about the Katz reputation and about keeping their clients happy even after the build is over.

We couldn't find a house that had the kitchen or master bath or closets we wanted so we settled on a house in Circle C that I believed provided the best bones to remodel and get everything that we wanted in our new home. I had met both Joel and Lucy Katz previously as a result of my work with a trade association and knew of their great reputation amongst their peers. The Katz’s were only one of two firms that I contacted and discussed my ideas and our project. After talking to both firms, I knew that I wanted to go with Joel and Lucy. You want Katz Builders if you want someone that can take your ideas, improve them and turn them into a plan on paper with a workable budget. I chose Katz Builders because of their reputation for quality work, attention to detail and ensuring that everything had to be done right and they exceeded my expectations! Katz Builders turned the house we bought into the home that my wife and I wanted. Without a doubt, I would use them again!

House was built in 1989, I bought it in 2007, knowing it needed work. The previous owners had done some very shoddy DIY work in the kitchen & both bathrooms, plus the paint & carpet needed to be replaced. For a variety of reasons, it wasn't until 2018 that I was ready to attack a remodel--well, It was a case of if one more thing broke, I'd have to move out anyway! (Since I wanted to remodel, I didn't want to bother paying to fix anything I wanted to rip out). But I was stumped about who to get to attack the project of basically building a custom-built home inside my tract home. I found Katz Builders when I went on the 2019 NARI Tour, they had done the work I wanted done at a nearby home & they were in my neighborhood. I've been SO VERY HAPPY I entrusted my home to them. The result has been fabulous & they made the process very bearable, even in the middle of a pandemic! Great work & fantastic people. After hearing everyone's horror stories of various renovations, I had a lot of trepidation, but Lucy, Joel & Greg Katz took fantastic care of me & made all my dreams come true. I cannot thank them enough! I feel I got excellent value what this remodel cost & they made the experience as painless as possible!

I have high expectations for every contractor that works on my home. Over the past ten years we have done greater than $300K in remodels. None have gone as smoothly with as high a quality outcome then our recent remodel with Katz Builders. Katz remodeled our home office at a final cost of $63K. Three things stood out in our project: 1. Katz added great value. Joel and Lucy recommended changes that saved $10K and maintained high quality. There were no surprise change orders. They completed the project under budget. 2. Project management was outstanding. Greg, our project manager, communicated proactively, was on-site daily, tightly scheduled subcontractors to avoid downtime, and completed the project early. 3. Long-standing relationship with subcontractors. The Katz’s have been doing this a long time and they have long-term relationships with their subcontractors. The subcontractors did high quality work in a very timely manner. I especially liked the electrician, plumber and painter. Housekeeping was excellent. I did not pay extra for any of this because the project was competitively bid at the on-set.

We enjoy working with Katz Builders. Such professionals. The attention to detail is evident in everything they do. They are so organized, thorough and have excellent customer service. Our experience in working with them has been so pleasant and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

I was fortunate enough to work on a project with Katz Builders that just recently wrapped up. I had already been hired by the homeowners to select all of the interior finishes for their large remodel. From the moment the homeowners selected Katz as their contractor, I knew I would be working with an exemplary home builder. Lucy, one of the owners immediately set up a meeting with me to ensure that we were all on the same page from the get go! Corey, their project manager, was a pure joy to work with and totally supported the design concepts that I brought to the table. We were able to easily work together to resolve any issues that arose, as often happens in remodel work. ;) I would highly recommend Katz if you are considering a remodel.
