About Us

My motto is, “Bring serenity into your life through organization.” I have designed custom cabinetry for clients for over 22 years and have created all types of storage solutions. My extensive experience includes designing closets, media centers, offices, garages, wall beds, wine rooms, craft rooms and playrooms. I always looks forward to meeting new clients to design something that uniquely meets each person’s needs and style. The beauty of working with so many materials and options, a project can easily be simply stated or spectacular. When Builders, Interior Designers, Decorators, General Contractors, Real Estate Agents, Home Re-Modelers, and other professionals need storage design and installation throughout home or office projects, they call me. Who you refer your customers and clients to can be a great success or a catastrophic error. Experienced Designers do the job right, and are always sensitive to the needs and requirements of property owners •We add value to homes by maximizing space usage with something beautiful and increasing storage capacity.

She helped me design a closet configuration that helped me organize my clothes in a helpful way. Very personable. Her installers were amazing. Cleaned up their mess and did a graat job.

Kathleen did an excellent job creating a very usable and functional master bedroom closet space for our home. Kathleen's attention to detail is awesome! She did a great job at listening to our needs, determining use and then creating a wonderful , useable closet. We are thrilled with our new closet and are ready for another project with Kathleen.

This is the second house I have had Kathleen design my closets for me. After I purchased the first house about 5 years ago I needed help with the closets. My friend, who had her master closet done by Closet Factory, had recommended Kathleen to me. I was really happy how my closets turned out. When I was planning to move into this house I knew what I wanted and who is going to design it. It feels so good walk in and see everything organized in it's own space. It's got drawers, shoe shelves, shelves for purses, sweaters, luggage, and more! This time I went with the natural maple look and it looks great!

Kathleen Mathien designed, and had our garage cabinets installed at our home. She was great- very knowledgeable and professional. She measured all workable space, keep close attention to traffic areas, and to entrance to attic ,and door openings. She addressed in detail the design so our new garage cabinets would best fit our goals for storage. She was friendly and a receptive to our needs. She exceeded all expectations and our finished project is awesome!

I am a realtor and I have been remodeling houses for years. I have tons of vendors on all areas I use and when I have an opportunity to call Kathy I get excited. I have used Kathy in 5 houses throughout the years on various size projects and she is by far the best closet/cabinet designer I have worked with. She had a very difficult closet at one of my houses with a hard angle and very odd space and she made the best use of space and built me a beautiful closet. She also has great ideas if you need suggestions or help in deciding. Not to mention she is just an overall very pleasant person. Do not hesitate, she is one of my favorite vendors of all time.

We are very satisfied with the closet design we received from Kathleen. She presented the various design options including color, style, layout, and accessories which made the design process very easy for us. Especially useful were the 3-D design drawings which really helped us visualize the final design. We highly recommend Kathleen.

Our whole experience with Closet Factory was exceptionally good. Kathleen Mathien came to our home and listened to what we had in mind and then helped us finish the planning and gave suggestions, pro and con, as to what we wanted to do. When she was done we had a fine plan for a wonderful piece of cabinetry and a wall bed. She set up the installation of both pieces to fit our schedule and called several times to let us know how the projects were progressing. The men that came to install the projects were exceptional. Explained everything they were going to do, brought all the parts and their own equipment and cleaned up COMPLETELY when they finished. Great personalities and great faces for Closet Factory. Your product is exceptional but Ann and I really felt that Kathleen and the installation team people were the best part of your company. We have and will continue to recommend your company to others and if we ever need it we will be sure to call Closet Factory. Thanks for great products and better service.
