When I first purchased this house, I had intended for it to be somewhat of a project. I saw the potential it had with its location, but I underestimated the level of skill required to refurbish. It was one of those very old buildings originally created as additional shelter on farm land. Long story short, the original building had around 4 or 5 additions to develop it into the home as it currently stands. I was overzealous when it came to the vision I had for renovations. I had overlooked certain absolute requirements a professional such as JT would never miss. My fantastical ideas were immediately put to rest when I learned certain walls were bearing weight from the floor above, as well as other critical fails I would have missed alone. I was initially destroyed by the thought of starting from scratch, but was immediately revived when JT sent me multiple floor plan options within a couple weeks. JT's imagination truly has no limits other than the requirements laid out by building code. The results JT has yielded has exponentially increased the perceived value of this home. I had first imagined this as a kitchen remodel, but the change is noticeable immediately upon walking through the front door. Immediately upon entering my house, the first impression has changed from "ah yes, I can tell this was a stable" to "I think I have been transported to a classier future." JT has changed my entire view on interior design. These areas are going to be the foundations from which memories will be built, so why would anybody want anything less than the best? JT is the first ingredient for a recipe to make your memories beautiful.

My husband and I are your average couple that wouldn’t have normally thought to hire someone to help us design our home but we quickly realized that we needed help and JT came to the rescue! He helped us navigate decisions and steer us towards a unified vision when, to be honest, we weren’t always agreeing at first. He had a very professional approach to everything and wasn’t afraid to get hands on hanging art etc. I couldn’t imagine redoing our family room and son’s bedroom without his valued guidance. You won’t be disappointed- PS he actually responds to emails and texts- very on top of communication which can be tough to find.

J.T. is a fantastic designer. When my husband and I were building our house we hired J.T. to help us imagine what our house could really be like. He made us think about things we never would have thought of—like where to place our outlets before calling in the electrician—things that you don't necessarily think of when you're building your first home but ultimately make a big difference. From the beginning, J.T. was professional. He delivered our scheme before he said he would and provided us with samples of every texture, color, pattern, etc. We were able to get a true sense of what he was proposing. He listened to both my needs and my husband's needs within our home and came up with a design that was functional, beautiful, and affordable for our budget. J.T. really cares about how your experience is going to be living in your home and that was something we both appreciated greatly. It was our first time working with a designer and we were happy that it was J.T. from beginning to the end. Would highly recommend to a friend.

I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Jason Taylor. I can personally attest to the fact that he not only brings brilliant design ideas and perspectives to light, but he knows just how to execute them to give you the most beautiful space with no shortage of attention to details.

J.T. did a really incredible job in helping us with design work on our finished basement. We wanted to transform the space into a real living area, and he really helped us pull a style, look, and feel together for the space, which we fell in love with—we now spend most of our time in there. He was an excellent communicator throughout the process, kept us updated regularly, and always had several different options so that we felt like we had a voice in things. We appreciated how open to our opinions and ideas he was, and that he was able to take our rough imaginings and make them come to life. He was also able to work within our budget to find elegant solutions to different problems we ran into. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Jason Taylor Interiors.
