I contracted Stillman to build a large patio and fire place in the back of my house and a walkway for my front porch on my new construction. Right from the start Stillman exceeded other contractors by his vision and 3d design. Having the design was key for me to see the final layout which made a huge difference in knowing what you will get for your investment. Our project had many challenges and stalls but Stillman adjusted the entire way and his guys were hardworking, polite young men who did a great job. James was a pleasure to work with and I would gladly work with his team again. I must say, I LOVE our patio and fireplace! I get compliments on my walkway all the time. Staying at home has never been so nice

It is rare when the quality of the work you hope for exceeds your expectations. We hired Stillman Landscaping to create a vista on the north part of our property. We had initially thought we needed a waterfall to drown out the noise of the HVAC system next door. Jaime convinced us that a stream with water rushing over irregular rocks would be a better solution and he was right! Not only is this area lovely to look at but it does drown out the annoying noise from the building next door. Jaime was great to work with and added little extras, like plants and fish and those were lovely surprises. I highly recommend this company.

We hired Stillman Landscape to install pavers in our backyard patio. James Stillman was very professional from start to finish. Everything on the contract was explained and delivered, not only in a timely manner, but, the work was exceptional! We were very happy with his attention to detail, and have had visitors compliment James' work of art! He did all the work with the help of only one partner. On top of that, his pricing was very reasonable (compared to 3 others we looked at). I am confident that you will be pleased with hiring Stillman Landscape.

Stillman Landscape designed and installed our new stone patio in the spring of 2015. In designing the backyard areas, James paid attention to our ideas and requirements. He patiently worked with us to be certain that we were happy with all of the details. The creative design and scale of the patio plan is a perfect complement to our home and is ideally suited to our needs. Other contractors had quoted the project but attempted to over-sell us on larger, more elaborate plans and were unwilling to commit to a specific price. The work was done on schedule and as quoted. Change orders were billed fairly and did not impact the finish date. James was on-site every day leading the project and working side-by-side with his crew. He communicated regularly with us, answering questions and keeping us updated with the progress. The selection of materials, quality of the work and attention to detail are extraordinary. We are very pleased with all aspects of our experience with Stillman Landscape and would highly recommend them.

Stillman Landscaping is one of the best landscaping companies we have hired. They are punctual, courteous, and the quality of their work is top notch! We have hired them for many landscaping and home improvement projects because they are easy to work with and have great vision for each job. They are able to work within our budget and they guarantee their work. For example, we had a planting that didn't seem to take and James Stillman personally came back to replace it and follow up with us to make sure it was growing. One of the things I like best about this company is the communication with their clients. We are able to reach James or Joanne by email and they always get back to us in a timely manner. I highly recommend Stillman Landscaping for your next outdoor project!

Their sign says, "Turning ordinary into extraordinary" which they certainly did!! They replaced our boring asphalt walk ways with a fabulous paved walkway that simply stated is "awesome!" The design looks great and the colors match perfectly for our home and existing steps. Daily cleanup was great, attention to detail and a super friendly crew to work with. From start to finish, a wonderful experience! They were here and gone in such a short time too! Finished in less than a week! Highly recommend you check these folks out for your next paved walkway, patio, fire pit or even driveway project!

I met Stillman Landscape at a show at the DCU center in Worcester. After looking at all of the others I decided to choose Stillman to do a water stream in my backyard. James came out to my house and came up with a plan after I told him what I wanted . I let him do what he thought would look good. He surely came thru with a great design It transformed the back yard to something that makes you want to just sit outside all of the time and admire it. After we saw how it was going to look we decided to enlarge our patio and then attach a long sidewalk along side of the stream and out to the front of the house. Everything turned out great. James and his men did a fantastic job from start to finish They started on time and even before time and even though we added more work for them they still finished on time. I can not say enough good words about the look that they did to my yard. Everyone that comes over are just surprised how great it looks.

James Stillman put in a beautiful stone patio and waterfall in our yard where an above ground pool used to be. It added a sense of nature and tranquility to our yard. The water operates on remote control and we love to sit facing the waterfall with its beautiful sound of trickling water and have a glass of wine.

Commented: What type pavers were used?It installed on compacted 3/8" crushed stone and we use 2 applications of polymeric sand between the pavers. Hope that helps!
