It has been 6 years since I moved into my new home and I thought I would provide a brief update to my 2017 review. I really couldn't be happier with the quality of the house. I have never had a significant issue with anything at all related to the construction. The home looks exactly as it did when I moved in. I have continued to use the original construction contractors for some maintenance items (golf balls breaking roof tiles, A/C system maintenance, automation systems upgrade, etc.) and will say that all of them have been exceptionally responsive, so great choices by Joyal from the start. I have also called Joyal a few times over the years just to get some information, and again they were very responsive. This is the fourth house that has been built for me and both construction process and ownership experience has been the best of them all. Joyal was, and I'm sure still is, a great company to work with.

While my wife and I didn't contract directly with Joyal to build our house we did however purchase from the people that did, the home was built in 1991 and we have lived in this home since 1995. Having worked in the Insurance business I was familiar with all forms of construction and agreed to build with another reputable builder, our real estate agent got a call that this home recently appeared on the market. My review of this home and recommendations by other professionals led us to a purchase. Our home has been praised buy visitors and is a testament to the long and storied reputation of Joyal Construction.

I built a home through Joyal. Initial expectations were met. Warranty and after moving in support; the worst in the world. I always wondered why my office was always colder in the winter and warmer in the summer,. So one day I asked a pest control company to come in and make sure I did not have any critters in my attic. No critters in my attic and no insulation in my office, no zero sip nada. Well of course Joyal homes did not believe me. They had to check for themselves and of course no insulation. They told me that the folks they hire are not the most educated of people and they just got tired and did not bother to check. I want to warn any one that my have an inclination to hire Joyal builders to build there home. My advice it to tread carefully. First of all I do not sympathize with companies that blame there worker or sub-contractors for there issues. It is you company act like and adult and a man and take responsibility for your product. DO NOT BLAME OTHERS FOR YOU FAILURE TO CHECK THE OVERALL WORK OF THE PROJECT..........more to come :-)

We have just completed our third renovation project and most extensive, with Joyal Homes. With each experience the Joyal team has exceeded our greatest expectations. We had a vision and they took the steps to make it a reality. We have a beautiful home with the comfort of knowing they always stand behind their work. Being customer oriented is not a thing of the past with them.

Joyal Homes built our forever home and did a superior job. Since I am retired I was able to spend a lot of time on site and observe the workmanship and materials used in building our house. The workmanship exhibited by the tradesmen used on the job was top notch and the materials used were the best. Joyal personnel were very professional and easy to work with, We were particularly impressed that we were able to specify the amenities we wanted and even from whom we wanted sourced for each amenity.

This was first time I have ever built house. I had heard many bad stories about building. My experience was incredible. The whole team at Joyal is amazing and made the entire process fun and enjoyable. The quality of my finished house and whole experience far exceeded my expectations!!! I wouldn’t build with any one else!!!

Joyal built a fantastic home for our family. They are easy to work with, professional, and very ethical. If something was wrong or not what we agreed, they fixed it without issues. My wife and I were very nervous to build a home after hearing all the experiences others have had; Joyal provided the best experience we ever had and we really enjoyed the build process of the home. You could not ask for a better group of people to work with.

Joyal Construction in Melbourne, FL is the bar for first - class construction companies. They set it, and others try to achieve it. There are three very important things Joyal practices on a daily basis: 1. Respectful interaction - The client is first in their book at all times. 2. They have a process. If you haven't done this before, a process is priceless. Whether building a home or renovating one, they think of all the aspects you may or may not know about. They cover all their bases, using proven methods to deliver a seamless journey through an intricate process. 3. Joyal demands the very best from all the sub contractors they interact with. The client gets the best there is, because Joyal's standards are first class. We say all of this because we are clients. We have also been a client of other builders all over the country. If we could, we would take Joyal with us - wherever we build. There isn't a better home builder than this team. We are grateful for their ethics and craftsmanship.

Joyal designed and built a porch addition for us that included new pavers, summer kitchen, and pool screen. The project transformed your backyard into an oasis that we love. Everyone who sees it tells us what an amazing space was created. We could not be happier with the quality of work and the professionalism of the entire Joyal team!

When our 21 year old home recently sustained hurricane damage, we decided to add some updating projects to the needed repairs. This entailed several different interior and exterior jobs. We realized that the scope of the work was broad and would require many different types of subcontractors and tradespeople. Because we both work, we knew that scheduling and supervising this project was more than we could handle effectively on our own. We recalled how comfortable we had been with the initial construction of our home by Joyal 21 years ago, so we contacted Tom Hull at Joyal who was our original project manager. First of all, I have to believe that it is unusual in the construction business for a company to have retained principal staff for more than 21 years- and, secondly, Tom remembered our home and treated us warmly and fairly once again. Our job included installation of stucco ventilated soffits, roof repairs, insulation, kitchen remodel, replacement of doors and windows, and several other upgrades. Throughout the process, the work was carefully supervised by our Joyal foreman, Dave Dunahee, with Tom Hull as our project manager. Dave was at our house daily. He was conscientious and detail-oriented. He responded to any concerns immediately and served as a buffer for us with the many subcontractors required to do the job. We felt at ease having Dave in our home when we were there as well as when we were at work. Tom made himself easily accessible to us by phone, email or text whenever we had a question. The Joyal brothers are still involved in their business and there is a palpable feeling of dignity and pride in their work. Our job was done very well. We were well informed of our costs and believed them to be fair. How fortunate our community is to have a family company like Joyal Homes who do high quality work, are good and decent people, and are reliable enough to be here to upgrade the home that they built for us 21 years ago!

In all dealings with this company, I've found them to be very professional. They do excellent work and guarantee all of it. A truly honest group of people.

We were so pleased with our custom home building experience from beginning to end. Joyal is second to none on customer satisfaction. Starting before we even signed the contract Jeff was extremely responsive and worked on getting us the design we wanted within our budget. We build on our own lot and had a few hurdles to overcome with the city but Joyal was on it, getting things resolved and working on our behalf. When any minor issues came up or when we wanted something different I frequently heard from Mike (our project coordinator) and Dave (our supervisor) phrases like "We want you to be happy with it", "You'll be living in it we want you to be satisfied". Even after closing Dave has been proactive and calling us periodically to see how everything is going and if we have any issues. Every vendor along the way we talked to told us we'd be happy with Joyal. And they were right! This isn't a cookie cutter, large quantity builder. If you want the best quality construction, best customer experience than look no further. You may not know many people who's built with them b/c they aren't high volume but I guarantee you won't meet anyone who used them and was disappointed. This is a company that has been around over 30 years and has a solid reputation with not only customers but vendors as well. They just do good business all around. We are so pleased with our home and so glad we picked Joyal to build it!
