Isaac Woodworking, Ltd. specializes in artistic furniture made from recycled woods and is located at 9000 feet elevation in the mountains of beautiful Golden, Colorado. The woodworking shop has the essential machinery for handcrafting rustic pieces that highlight the unique beauty inherent in nature’s woods. Via business partners, we has access to a wide variety of recycled wood from across the USA. Barns and factories constructed 100-150 years ago provide a supply of siding, hand-hewn beams, joists, etc. and we maintain the history in each pieces of wood as we craft our pieces. Imagine a piece of furniture that reflects the craftsmanship of a barn builder 150 years ago. We also have access to live-edge slabs from the Boulder, Colorado area. Walnut, Silver Maple, Juniper, Locust and other trees are dying and instead of turning these 16-24 inch trunks into fire wood, we use them to create unique dining, coffee and end tables. The slabs are cut, then air dried for about one year before being kiln dried for two weeks. All to prevent warping of the finished pieces.
