I worked with John in a professional capacity during the mid 1980's in the UK before he moved to the US. Since his move I had not seen him for quite awhile until he visited myself and my family in Cornwall in 2005. Our garden is quite large [some 2.5 acres] and we had an area in front where there used to be an old pond that we were wondering what to do with. John very kindly drew us a planting plan during his visit to go with our repair of the pond. The attached photos show the early days of the scheme soon after planting and it's appearance in the Summer of 2014. Needless to say we are more than satisfied with the result of what John had described as a simple sketch! Thanks John it gives us [and the neighbours across the way!] great pleasure. And you were right the Gunnera have done exceptional well.

I highly recommend John Cowen Landscape Associates. John did the initial design for our gardens and they are just beautiful through every season (and every year). He continues to maintain our property and it always looks great. His crew are polite and do a wonderful job. John is always available to answer any questions and makes it a point to stop by and check on all. I have been using John for 10 years and would not consider any other garden service.

consulted and recommended changes for the beds around the house. pruned and transplanted existing bushes and added new bushes. installed dry well with brick path. made a plan for further plantings in the spring.
