Studio 12 Architecture

I have been renovating and developing property in San Francisco since 1995 and started working with Jeff Burris, Studio 12 in 2012. I have now used Jeff to design 6 projects for me, including four ground up small condo projects and two renovations of existing homes. Jeff is not only very creative and talented, but just as importantly, he is organized, thorough, knowledgable about the planning code and knows when to push back on the city and when to back down. He is talented, efficient and an easy to work with. I have recommended him to many of my colleagues and will continue to do so.

STUDIO 12 - LISTENS WELL, SEES FAR, A JOY TO WORK WITH We engaged Studio 12 Architecture to help us rework all aspects of our home - new exterior, kitchen, baths, and an extension coupled with some structural engineering issues. At every point in this process, the Studio 12 Principal Architect, Jeff Burris brought leadership, listening, vision, patience, and really creative design solutions for every space we developed. Of particular note, aside from the slick and awesome Modern Architecture that these guys do, they really understand how people live in their homes and how to make the home work. Moreover, Jeff is a master at finding space where space wasn't and really harvesting the natural light hitting the home into the space. in our project, we added 12 windows to our already bright home, the result has been incredible. Another good thing about these guys is that they know how to efficiently harvest the space of your home - slicing off a bit of space here, tucking in an office there, extend this space over here - the results of these moves have been so smart yet so effective. We also had them design custom storage all over the house and as a home owner this is such a game changer. Finally, in terms of their design vision, they really know how to focus on the fundamentals of a design and bring out the essence while leaving out the clutter.
