Jeff Allen and his team provided unparalleled service and a beyond expectations outcome for our outdoor transformation. His keen design and functional insights to our ultimate goals for creating outdoor space that would draw our family and friends from inside to outside has been fantastic. Additionally, JALA worked extraordinarily well in leading our team of collaborators; the contractor, the landscaper and the pool company to a project that met timelines and contract parameters.

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff Allen on a landscape project to conceptualize and design a garden plan and landscaping for a very challenging lot. Jeff did an amazing job! He is bright, energetic, creative, reliable and professional. By far, he is the most accomplished landscape architect that I have ever worked with in 35 years of professional practice. His knowledge of historical landscape architecture is impressive. I recommend Jeff Allen and his staff.

JALA, LLC was hired to select a location and create a design for an outdoor kitchen consistent with the style and vintage of our home. Jeff created a classic design ideally located near our inside kitchen and our outdoor porch eating area. His design and building materials selection marry perfectly with our original house. Jeff managed the project from design thru builder selection and construction compliance. His involvement prevented and resolved several potential issues during the course of the construction. Jeff and his team were easy to work with. We found their designs and recommendations to be based on solid experiences and practical creativity. We highly recommend them and would hire them again for other projects.

Jeff Allen Landscape Architecture did a great job on our backyard. We buried our swimming pool and put in a patio, fire pit, and new steps. The landscaping was perfect, providing a wonderful vista overlooking a golf course.

Jeff Allen did a fantastic job for us this summer! When I first met with him and explained that my husband and I wanted to remove at least 1/2 of the mature landscaping around our house, replace it with very different plants,and build an outdoor fireplace and a brick wall, he did not hesitate a moment to listen to our concerns and objectives. He immediately began to formulate a very professional blueprint for our new landscaping, and never failed to respond to our questions and suggestions. He and the other professionals hired to complete our landscaping project worked beautifully together as a team, and Jeff directed communications with them throughout the project. We were so thrilled to meet a landscape architect who really listened to us and applied his extensive knowledge and experience in the field to give us the outdoor spaces that not only made into a reality the vision we had long held for our house, but which also are architecturally appropriate for our 72 year old house. We are delighted with the final product, and would highly recommend him. (5 stars)

Jeff did an amazing job with our landscape project. He is meticulous and thorough - no detail was missed. He is super easy to work with and listens to the homeowners wishes and concerns. I would (and have) highly recommended JALA to others.

Jeff Allen provided professional service from start to finish. Our project was an extensive driveway and side entry re-configuration and a walled garden with classic features. Jeff was consistently prepared, prompt, pleasant, and inspired. When our budget required some modifications to his original plan he did so respectfully without complaint. The implementation phase went extremely well because of his oversight and continued involvement and the high caliber of contractors he recommended. Again, from start to finish working with Jeff was a pleasure and every inch of the project is a reflection of his expertise and passion for excellence.

Jeff came up with an excellent plan for totally revamping most of our yard. We added a circular driveway and all new plantings in the front yard, and a beautiful bluestone patio and plantings in the back. We are so happy with the results and Jeff could not be nicer to work with. Highly recommend!

Jeff is a pleasure to work with. He shares my love of classic Southern looks. We are now working with him on a second project.
