About Us

J. Collins & Associates as founded in 1997 by Principal Joel Collins. The ideals of the firm were to create unique and pleasing residential projects, with an emphasis on quality and detail. Through the years, the firm has enjoyed steady growth, and now designs and manages construction on some of the most intriguing and ambitious residential projects in the region. While often working in historically based architectural languages, the firm has also proven itself to be quite well versed in contemporary design as well, and always weds tasteful design with graceful modern living.

Joel Collins and associates designed a totally accessible home for my late wife and I six years ago. I totally enjoy living in it as did my wife who was wheelchair bound.

Joel designed our house for us almost 17 years ago. And we are still incredibly happy after all these years. It is timeless with great bones, and yet has been easy to keep current and modernize through the years with remodels and updates. Would highly recommend Joel. Joel was very easy to work with and was constantly coming up with creative improvements throughout the building process. He has a great eye.
