About Us

Tailored Interiors & Architecture (TIA) and Ilse Kerr are a boutique design practise based in West Horsley offering a diversified range of architectural design and styling services to individual and corporate clients across Surrey and the South East of the United Kingdom. Our diversified design studio offers: Bespoke Architectural, Interior & Styling Services. Expressions of style, timeless design and added value are the basic principles by which my design studio attributes its success. Our personalised service lends focus to detail. Ilse Kerr offers over 17 years of experience in Architectural design & Interiors, & her international experience extends over 3 countries, UK, Australia and South Africa. The services to be offered by TIA will be segmented across three complementary areas of design and styling related activities, namely: (i) architectural design services, (ii) interior design and interior architecture services, and (iii) interior styling services. We offer a greater value to clients by offering a full service design solution beyond the standard technical architectural offerings in the market.

I have known Ilse Kerr for over 5 years and I have only found her to be highly professional in her approach to her work. She has extremely high standards and is an incredibly talented and creative Architect. She ran an exceptionally successful business in South Africa and I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone who wants a professional yet personal and highly efficient service. I intend to use her experience and services for a potential kitchen refurbishment we are thinking of doing in 2016.

Ilse Kerr took over the detailed design of the Architecture on our project in 02/2012. She managed the contractors on site and the suppliers for all the finishing fixtures and fittings including doors, windows, plumbing and decorations. Her attention to detail of every aspect resulted in a stunning, high quality finish that people compliment us on all the time. She was very collaborative in the way she worked with us to get the theme and detail exactly right for every room and the design suits our family living perfectly. Probably the biggest endorsement we can give is that there is nothing we would have done any differently today - having lived in the house for the last 3 years.

Commented: Floor to ceiling windows - yay or nay?Large window space extended to full heights brings in the external view to form part of your interior & make the space feel larger.
