I have had the distinctive pleasure in working with HPD Architecture as a reputation management consultant for over three years. The firm's principals, Holly, Larry, and Laura, are consummate professionals and balance each other perfectly both in skill sets, experience and personalities. I was deciding whether to sell my house and move, or stay and remodel. After looking at hundreds of homes for sale, I made the decision to stay and remodel. The smartest action that I took was to hire Laura Davis with HPD Architects. Anyone who writes me a handwritten note to thank me for allowing her the opportunity to work with me is impressive! I also saw some of her work on Houzz. Her emphasis on maintaining the integrity of the architecture while at the same time updating my home to 2013 was a major factor in my decision to go with Laura and her firm. I was not disappointed in what she delivered. As a result of her hard work, her skill of listening to me, looking at all of the pictures that I gathered to achieve the look and feel that I wanted, combined with her attention to detail are all factors that has made this house into a fabulous home. We incorporated many of my artistic ideas into the house. Laura was so instrumental in allowing me and encouraging me to trust my own instincts and at the same time steering me in the right direction to achieve my goals. I was particularly happy with the fact that I chose a woman who is also a wife and the mother of one adorable little boy. She definitely had a woman's perspective on how to make spaces work. Before, my house had space, but not very usable or efficient. I now have my dream home! Every person that has seen my remodeled home - and I mean every single person that has walked through the front door, cannot believe the transformation! I am beyond happy! I have a kitchen that is to die for, a master bath that makes me smile, and I have a mini "Trophy Closet" that is more than I even imagined! If you are looking for a firm that will attend to your wants and needs and deliver plans that are very do-able, will watch the work in progress and make changes as they are necessary (it's much cheaper to change the plans on paper than to redo the actual work), then hire HPD. I am very proud of what I accomplished - and I think that Laura is also very proud of her work. She and her firm should be proud! She has been a pleasure to work with and I will encourage everyone I know to call her if they are considering making changes, adding on to, and remodeling their home or business. The only thing left for me to say is, "BRAVO"!!!!!

This was our second remodel. The first time we did not engage an architect; bad idea! This time we chose HPD Architecture, our overall experience was like night and compared to the first. Our project involved remodeling two bathrooms and three bedrooms, basically half of the house, and adding a second story with a bedroom, office, media room and full bath. We went from 1,800 square feet to more than 2,500 square feet. New windows throughout, re-finish the garage, match hardwood floors, etc. In essence we practically built a new home. Additionally the style of our home went from a boring 1960s ranch style to more of a contemporary Craftsman style. The level of service that we received from our architect and the entire HPD team was a constant pleasant surprise. Their counsel was sound and their interpretation of our ideas were spot-on. They were with us are true project partners from beginning to end making certain that the builder did exactly what was called out in the plans. When issues arose (and they always do) HPD was there with the perfect solution, quick and well thought out. HPD’s attention to detail was limitless. Their ability to narrow down thousands of choice to the perfect few that fit both our concept and budget was astounding. Honestly, I hope we never remodel or build again, but if we do there will be no searching for an architect, we’ll go straight to HPD Architecture.

I have had the pleasure off working with HPD Architecture for the past 2 years. My experience with them has been very rewarding. They are professional and meticulous to detail, going over and beyond what is expected to ensure their clients receive the best value for their dollar. Not only does HPD Architecture help you visualize what the project will look like with blueprints, sketches and space planning, but as licensed interior designers they are also able to help with the furnishings and accessories to create the vision their clients want.

HPD architecture are exremly talented and professional individuals.They transformed a 50 year old house into a modern day work of beauty,warmth and charm. They were very pleasant and fun to work with. They were always available to assit help or inspect the project,to make sure that thier specs were being adhered to.I have recommened them to several other friend s and associates.They were able to handle any questions or assist us in finding items that we needed. NO is not their vocabulary. There design and plans were unique and done exactly as we had asked. Their follow through is exceptional.
