About Us

Hot Shot Pool Finishes was established in 2014 to provide homeowners and businesses with better solutions for their pools. Our team has been factory trained and has decades of swimming pool expertise. Hot Shot Pool Finishes can replaster your existing pool and we also work with pool installers to plaster new pools. We offer a variety of finishes, textures, and colors that will enhance your pool and spa. Hot Shot Pool Finishes is very excited to offer AquaBright, a new alternative to traditional plaster finishes for gunite pools. AquaBright is a high performance pool finish that was developed in 2006 by EcoFinish, a sister company to Carlton Pools. Ecofinish developed this product in response to the dissatisfaction with traditional plaster finishes. Carlton Pools uses AquaBright on 60% of their new installations. AquaBrite is a thermal plastic coating that is applied pneumatically and heated onto the pool surface. The material dries almost instantly and produces a smooth and durable finish that is 100 % waterproof and is impervious to chipping, scaling, and staining. Hot Shot Pool Finishes is using AquaBright on new residential and commercial pool installations, residential and commercial renovations, slides, plastic hot tubs, vinyl pool coping, and refinishing steps in vinyl liner pools. Superior resurfacing of my Glamour gunite inground pool. They cover surface imperfections but do not remove. The pool looks great. Pool chemistry seems a little easier to control. My pool was approximately 33 years old when I had this service done. I believe this type of resurfacing is superior to replastering. The crew was very professional. Very competitive cost was $8750.

We have a 40+ year old gunnite pool requiring a major overhaul. We researched re-plastering, pebbletec, and this relatively new product aqua-brite. Based on the amount of work needed to refinish, we selected this product and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. From the time the HotShot Team (Pat, Steve, Michael, and Zac) showed up on Monday until they finished the next afternoon, we were amazed at their professionalism and how well and fast they worked. The process took only two days-- to drain the pool, acid wash/clean, patch, expoxy and blow-torch the product on. We were filling the pool in the afternoon on the second day and swimming two days later (delayed because of thunderstorms)! Now, three weeks later, all we can say is this was the best experience we have ever had and the entire event far exceeded our expectations- if you need your pool refinished, call these guys!

Hot Shot Pools retiled my pool. The two main contacts I worked with were Pat and Kim. They were both very informational and responsive. With projects involving multiple companies to complete the work, and also when the work is weather dependent, communication is very important. Hot Shot Pools exceled at this and was also extremely professional. I am a very detail oriented person and overall I am very satisfied with the outcome of the tile work and project as a whole. We have a 24 year old pool that was re-finished by Hotshot Pools. Our first visit from Pat was full of great information including many great visual samples. After some online research and visiting thier facility to see the actual product we gave the green light to proceed. We were very happy with the communication prior to arrival. They showed up when they said they would. Weather became a stresser during application on day two but the crew was beefed up and procautions made to make sure that the end result was perfect. And we have been enjoying our new pool everyday since.
