Taylor and her crew are consummate professionals. I gave them a budget and what she accomplished for my relatively small budget truly transformed my property. She delivered WAY more than I even thought possible. Her entire team - from Taylor herself, to her designers to the crew that executes on the job - are all fantastic. Additionally, she planted my garden in the summer when others said it was too late. She said it would work - her own guys laid down the irrigation hoses off my existing system - and it did!! (Also saving me tons of money by not having to rejigger things with my irrigation company). Nothing died!!!!! People actually walk past my house and ASK ME who I used because the transformation was so unbelievable. Needless to say, I am one happy customer. (And the garden maintenance plan keeps everything looking great!). Year 2 looked even better than when it was originally installed and I can’t wait to see what year 3 brings!

I had the extraordinary experience of working with Taylor and her Hot Botany crew this past year (2017) on a new pool & landscape project in East Hampton, NY. Initially I found her through houzz searching for a company that understood natural & native landscapes. Taylor went above and beyond to deliver a beautiful landscape centerpiece that brings new life to the property. She has an intuitive design sense that builds layers of ever changing color and textures that results in a balanced and calming environment. There were many challenges presented to Taylor during the course of this project and she stepped in to direct and oversee all aspects with special attention on the installation of the massive stone boulders, steps and terrace hardscape. Her crew was well supervised & efficient and took pride in the work they installed. Taylor also kept a keen eye on the project budget and met deadlines and offered solid value for the work performed ("the whole is by far greater than the sum of the parts"). In conclusion Taylor and her Hot Botany crew created a delightfully beautiful & well imagined environment that the homeowners and family will cherish for many years to come.

Hotbotany, run by Taylor Dunn is a wonderful gardening resource! We interviewed several gardeners for a pool project, and hired Taylor because of her warm personality, extensive knowledge of native plants, her very experienced and talented crew of workmen, her reliability and her beautiful solutions for difficult gardening areas. We think her costs are fair and she stays on budget. She is a good listener and always presented us with a better version of what we thought we wanted. She is a pleasure to work with!

Taylor is a "flower whisperer". I have never found anyone who is so dedicated and passionate about what she does. When we first met her, we had cleared our whole yard and it was a slopping mess. She designed the whole experience and got to know what kind of style we were looking for and thought carefully about the type of flowers that were indigenous to the area which would give it a cohesive and organic look. In the end, we ended up with a magical garden and she continues to nurture it. I am so grateful to have met her!
