Home Front

Added room and very large walk in closet in our attic. Home Front was great to work with. From design to completion the team did a great job. Special shout outs to Jay, the PM and Leo, the everything guy. Jay was easy to contact, on the job a lot and was always checking in with us. Leo basically did all the work, except electrical. He did the framing, subfloors, walls, finished flooring, trim work, and all painting. Great guy.

Excellent renovation experience. Two bathroom renovations done simultaneously. Predicted 3 weeks start to finish (tear-out to final inspection). Nailed that. My city has a lot of odd permitting requirements that slowed down the start. Of note: custom cabinets are constructed for the job. Tile work is excellent. Even removed two large tiles and replaced at our request (no complaints - had not set right versus rest of work). Had two unique issues we knew about before tear out that they incorporated into their work. Water draining from condensate lines in attic were problematic (fixed) and I idly commented to assembled craftsmen that when one upstairs shower was running the noise downstairs was unusually loud. They insulated the pipes in the floor during tear-out of the tub and solved the problem completely. They are probably a bit more expensive than their competition that constantly advertise on the local evening news but here is what you get for your money: 1. Complete access to a huge tile store for selections. 2. 3 hours with a design consultant. She walks the stores with you. (Tile, countertops, fixtures) 3. The guys that tear-out also do the restoration. This is handy for inflight changes. 4. Custom built cabinets 5. Shower installation was excellent. As an upstairs location it needed to be extraordinary waterproof. 6. You see an issue “inflight” you bring it up to project foreman and/or job leader. They are on it. 7. They never said “no”. They did have a complete contract with scope of work and if the request was outside of that scope they added it to the cost or in some cases just did it if it was relatively minor. When I came in under budget they backed that price out of the original bid. Honorable company. Great employees. Highly recommend based on this experience.

Great company. They did my kitchen and bath remodel. They finished on time thst was promised. I loved that I had the same team everyday. They all showed up on time and were very respectful. We will definitely be using Home Front on our 2 bath remodel.

We hired Home Front to do a complete remodel of our home office including floors, drywall, paint, electrical, built-in cabinets and a custom desk with quartz top. We also had them replace approximately 1500 sq.ft of tile and carpet with new "luxury vinyl planks" throughout the downstairs. We liked them so much, we also added on replacing the tile around our fireplace. This was our first project with Michael and Home Front and we couldn't be more pleased. They were not the cheapest bid we got, but their model of keeping the same team on the job throughout the project is fantastic and was totally worth the small premium we paid. Here are the highlights of our experience: •The team showed up when they said they would. We agreed on a start time of 7:30am and over the 2-week project, the guys were sitting out front at 7:25am waiting - never once being late, despite having to drive over an hour in traffic to get to our house. •Roman and Alex were fantastic. My wife felt completely comfortable being home alone with them and we had no reservations leaving them in our home alone. After a few days, we even gave them a key so they could come and go without working around our schedule. •Roman and Alex did amazing work. I am extremely OCD and any time I pointed out small nit-picks, they quickly corrected it and never made me feel guilty about it. •The team was very conscientious and treated our home like a home, not a construction site. They did everything they could to manage the dust and debris problem. Covering furniture, spraying down the floor before grinding and using a shop vac to keep the dust under control as much as possible. They cleaned up every day before they left and kept things neat and tidy. •After the first week, it looked like we were behind schedule (we had a thanksgiving deadline) because tearing out the old tile was more difficult than expected. Without me asking, Michael sent an extra crew to help get us back on track. They finished on-time. •The final bill was exactly what they said it would be – we made one small change request towards the beginning of the project but other than that, we paid exactly what Michael quoted us. He did not nickel and dime us to death for every little thing that wasn’t specifically called out in the quote. Every single person we dealt with at Home Front from the owner Michael to the team doing our remodel and even the billing and ordering personnel were top notch professionals who were extremely focused on making sure we were happy. The old adage that you get what you pay for couldn’t be more true here and we will definitely use Home Front again.

We had our Master Bathroom remodeled and Meghan was our Sr Estimator/PM - great communication! We had the bathtub removed and the shower relocated to where the tub was and cabinets put in where the shower originally was. The vanity and sinks were replaced. Leo and Eddy demo’d and installed - they did a great job - very talented. They cleaned up everyday and made sure we were satisfied before they left each day. I have never had such personable, professional and respectful people doing work at our home before.

Highly recommend Home Front. We hired them to do a fairly significant remodel for us. Complete bathroom remodel. Painted and carpeted upstairs bedroom. Re-painted kitchen cabinets. Re-did floors in den, hallway and living room. Replaced doors throughout house, including front door. Our 50+ year old house has a new spring in her step! Home Front showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would do and made sure we were completely satisfied with the job. The crew, Roman and David were simply amazing. Polite, professional, courteous and cheerful...we could not have asked for a better crew to work with. We'd hire Home front again in a heartbeat. You should hire them, too!

We engaged HFHS to help us with a complete remodel of our 1926 home. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say. They were here every day, when they said they would be here, with great attitudes, pleasant demeanor, and exemplary work ethic. Their work was excellent. When problems arose, they communicated with me and then took care of it. I highly recommend HFHS to you.

I hired Michael and crew to remodel 105 year old home. Their initial focus was master bath and add powder room. Within two weeks of initial project, I hired them to remodel upstairs bathroom. Sergio and Joaquin were the team that made the dream come true. Friendly, punctual, and problem solving, the were able to address and of the challenges that came with dealing with 105 year old home. The bathrooms are far better than expected and well worth the time and energy of having home construction during the holidays. They were not the lowest bid but the customer service and overall outcome of the project was awesome. Great folks and competitive in the bid process. I’m currently having them start project 3 and 4 in the next few weeks. Highly recommend and will refer friends in the future.
