From the moment Keith Wagner first visited our property, I knew that Wagner Hodgson was the right landscape firm for our lakeside home. The land had been neglected for decades and his vision and enthusiasm was just what the project needed. The unstable shoreline and overgrown woods were transformed into my favorite place in the world. Keith and Amy and their team were lovely to work with and always available to address questions. A top notch group indeed!

I had the pleasure to work with Keith Wagner and his team on new house design in Vermont. Keith was a great team player, working from ideas we had started with the client, and then adding his input to bring the design to an even higher level. Worked with Jeff Hodgson and the team to create our landscape in conjunction with the building of a new house. We could do be happier with Wagner Hodgson's responsiveness, creativity, and care with our project. The results are beautiful and continue to hold up. Jeff has continued to be responsive as we have tweaked and added over the last couple of years...something that is often hard to get busy people to do. We could not be happier.

My husband and I have had an exceptional experience working with Wagner Hodgson on the landscape design for our new home in Charlotte VT. Their vision and design for our unique home is a perfect compliment to the architecture and surrounding vista of mountains and lake. The landscape they created is a perfectly balanced and serene enhancement to our home that doesn't distract but rather causes one to pause in admiration for the sense of quiet invitation it invokes. Brilliantly done!

We had seen some designs from Wagner Hodgson on houzz.com and knew they were the right firm to transform our backyard into a private oasis. This was a large scale project by our definition with lots of detail: large retaining walls, pool, deck, large patio, fire pit, outdoor kitchen. Jeff agreed to take on the project, even though we lived several states away. Both Michael and he entertained every idea we had, and showed us multiple design options. Even when we changed course on them, they just kept going with us. Once construction began, and with all it's ups and downs, Jeff and Michael were quick to respond, understood our concerns, and took care of everything... miles and miles away from the job site. They have incredible knowledge not only on design, but every technical aspect as well throughout construction. Always in a good mood, helpful, and respectful of every concern - even the silly ones - these gentlemen have been a pleasure to work with, and made all the difference in an otherwise hectic process. Thank you both again and again and again. We love it!

I have had such a positive experience working with Keith Wagner and would recommend his services without reservation. Keith has an amazing design sense that allows him to make a space more aesthetically pleasing and functional while at the same time honoring its natural surroundings. He is respectful of your ideas and budget but above all is easy to work with and has a way of making you feel that you are his top priority. Keith completed a project for me in the fall and I already have him back working on another one. I have long been an admirer of Keith's work and feel very fortunate to finally have the opportunity to work with him!

This project in Vermont was my dream come true home and I wanted to incorporate everything that I wanted in to this project. Keith and Jeff were included early on in the planning of how the house and landscape worked together to integrate in to the natural landscape. There were alot of elements to work with - both the intimate scale close to the house and then the views out to the meadows and the lake. Any time we needed them for a meeting they were immediately on board. They stuck with the budget and offered suggestions on how to reduce costs and yet still meet our aesthetic requirements. They had a great relationship with our contractor and builder and I felt we worked really well together. I highly recommend them and will use them again on future projects.
