We love what Sophie did for our yard! We live in a hilly forested area and wanted to create an inviting space that felt natural to the landscape. Sophie created just that, having an eye toward drought tolerance and the limited amount of light available in such a wooded area. She was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

This is our second time working with Haven Home and Garden Design and we love our backyard makeover! We were in the process of renovating our house. Our landscape hadn't been addressed in 30 years. We had specific things we wanted: low maintenance, and low water usage. We wanted to work with our existing cactus and succulent beds. We met with Sophia who looked at our site and talked extensively about our likes and dislikes. Working with her, we developed a plan that addressed our minimalist tastes and our love of stonework. Her suggestions including a stone wall in the back yard and the plant choices evolved into something perfect for us. The landscape crew was professional, efficient, and did a great job. I was not able to completely imagine what the finished landscape would be like, now that it is done I love it. The details like how the pebbles in the front complement the house color, and the neat stone steps in the back help make the yard so nice. Neighbors who have seen and like the front say "Wow!" when they see the back. The project was finished quickly and within budget. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sophia Cunningham's Haven Home and Garden landscaping to anyone.

Sophia did an amazing job with our outdoor space. Our backyard was originally half pavers, half grass (which never dried) with huge trees that were competing for space. We loved the trees b/c they created privacy but she recommended we loose those trees and plant news that could thrive in that particular space. We removed the pavers & grass and put bluestone down. She found a way to keep it green without the grass. We are very please with her work! I think Sophie is extremely knowledgeable, timely and has great attention to detail.

I found Sophie on the recommendation of my landscape contractor. At that time I already had a garden design that had been created by another professional, but i had many doubts and questions about it. I hired Sophie to help me work through it. She helped me to add favorite plant combinations, improve the shape of beds to better suit our kids' play, eliminate invasive plants from the original design (!) and choose screening trees. I am thrilled with the results. I also hire Sophie each year for a quick garden tune up session. Working with Sophie is wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Sophie has been absolutely amazing. She has exquisite taste, but more importantly, she is very responsive and attuned to my preferences. I have found her to be extremely adaptable in terms of budget. She is also 100% reliable and that goes for the people she works with as well.

Sophia of Haven Home and Garden is the top in her field. She provided designs of both the front and back of my new home. The finished product was even more beautiful than the drawings. Sophie is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and always on time. She worked well with my contractor and everyone else working on my home. People comment that my garden is the most beautiful in the community. I can't say enough about her professionalism and expertise.
