Greenridge Landscaping

I’ve read the previous reviews of Greenridge and Bryan Hallengren’s work and concur with the praises. In my case, I contracted with Greenridge to solve a functional water problem outside. Through all phases, beginning with evaluation and ideas to final “tidying,” Bryan and his crew were knowledgeable and professional. I started talking with Greenridge in the spring; they knew I wanted it done in the fall, and that is when it happened! Bryan was careful with me so I was involved with and aware of his ideas for solving this problem. The crew was respectful of my property, my personal life, and that of my neighbor. My husband and I have built two houses, and significantly remodeled another, including full-scale landscaping at each residence. Greenridge Landscaping ranks above their peers on every relevant indicator. Bryan Hallegren's ability to customize a project to meet a consumer's aesthetic vision, as well as budget goals is truly commendable. Plus, he makes the whole process easy going and flexible, and actually fun (which is really a feat since after a custom build who has energy for landscaping design details!) The install crew are all good communicators who care about their work product, and are more than competent in executing Bryan's design. I have zero complaints about any part of the process from start to finish with Greenridge, and would give them an unqualified recommendation.

Last summer we had to replace our existing pool with a totally new one. Because the shape of the pool changed we replaced the existing stamped concrete with pavers. This became a huge project so we wanted the best. I contracted Greenridge Landscaping in the spring to clean up our neglected landscaping. We have an incredibly large amount of landscaped area, and they were able to get to it and basically perform a miracle in a few days. They were then hired to replace our retaining walls and pave a large area around the pool as well as create an incredible water feature above the wall. Working with Brian Hallengren's vision as well as the functionality of the area, they have made our back yard worthy of any landscaping magazine I have seen. It is truly amazing. It was one of the wettest summers on record, but they were there on every dry day available until the job was completed. We have had many construction projects in the past so this was very impressive to me. I would have no problem recommending Greenridge Landscaping, and we are eternally grateful to have found such an impressive company to work with in Southern Illinois.

Greenridge Landscaping not only met our dreams of a patio but exceeded them! Bryan took our ideas, pictures of the area, and a visit to bring it all together. The landscaping crew was fantastic and always kept us up to date on what was being done and to be done even with the weather getting in the way. You couldn't find a better landscaping team to bring your ideas to life.

We contracted Greenridge Landscaping to redesign our driveway, demolish old drive and install new drive. We worked directly with Bryan Hallengren, design associate. The design services were quick and well conceived. They provided several alternative solutions that included price estimates. After committing to a design solution and construction we were included in their busy good weather time schedule. Once construction began the team was committed to completion. We were well informed during the construction phase. The attention to detail was meticulous and all items of construction, cleanup and final inspection were completed with much care and efficiency. We are very pleased with the entire project and will work them again in the future. We would highly recommend Greenridge Landscaping to others.

Andrew and his crew have been excellent to work with! I received a bid that was accurate, I was informed of any changes along the way, and the project cost did not magically go up mid way to completion. The crew was on time and respectful of my family (no bad language around my kids or trash left behind). The plan was exactly what I asked for and was beautifully constructed to match the natural style of my home. One of the few contractors I can give 5 stars!

We have relied on the staff of Greenridge Landscaping for driveway construction, landscape borders (boxwoods), and gardens over the 20+ years since we restored a turn-of-the-century stone schoolhouse into our home. Greenridge Landscaping has done several jobs for me including installing an outdoor rainwater collection system and a spigot. They are wonderful to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to call them for any landscape need I had. They are always on time and professional!

A car hit the retaining wall in my front yard. The people at Greenridge Landscaping were patient and worked with us & the insurance company to restore my yard and make it beautiful again.
