Granite Transformations - Raleigh/Durham

Do not do business with this company. Started my kitchen remodel and the first counter top they brought to the house was cracked. Second counter top was installed but before the installers left they recognized faded areas throughout the granite and an impression of a sheet of paper. After requesting the second counter top be removed I requested a refund. I was denied my refund, so the $13,300.00 I paid Granite Transformations was applied to my cabinets. Was not happy with this put had no choice. I was told the kitchen cabinets would take 5-10 days. That was November 2016. This is April 3, 2017 and my kitchen is still not finished. The refacing guy from Granite Transformations had no experience in refacing. The plumber installed the crown molding. The refacing material used on my cabinets had hairline cracks and the glue was not holding. They installed a new cabinet but left a huge hole in the joining cabinet. The carpenter work was horrible. Repeatly asked for my money back was denied. Granite Transformations does not stand behine their life time warrantly. Hired an attorney because I never could get anyone to come back over and finish my cabinets. The President of the Company said he would make things right but he did not. Went to the corporate office in Florida and their response was it was not their fault. So I have been left with an unfinished kitchen and empty pockets. Granite Transformations does not have to be licensed in NC because they keep their jobs under $30,000.00. I wished I had known that before I signed a contract with them. Went to the Attorney General's Office all they do is write three letters on your behalf. So my advice to anyone thinking about using Granite Transformations is run as fast as you can from them because they will leave you holding the bag and never look back.

I contacted Granite Transformations and they worked with me to set up a time to give me an estimate at my convience, quoted a fair price and we had a deal. They called the next day, had had a cancellation and could they come to do the templates, we did and had our counter tops in a few days. Completely professional and easy to work with. Outstanding job!

Granite Transformation did our master bath remodel including resurfacing the shower, replaced the tub and surround, replaced the mirrors, resurfaced the vanity top and replaced sinks. They were very neat, respectful and listened to our desires and suggestions. If something was not like we wanted they were willing to redo it without a hassle or explain why it couldn't be done. They even returned months later and worked with us to clear a slow draining sink, explained why it was happening and how to avoid it in the future...at no charge. It took longer than estimated but we were very pleased with the results.
