I saw Alpine Flooring truck in my neighborhood and called. I had several estimates. What set Mike out was his honesty and how the floors would look a couple years downline, with the recommendations of previous contractor estimates. I hired him to replace one level and refinish another level. His team was great and very easy to work with. They cleaned up after their work. I was impressed. My contractor on another project was so impressed he asked for name to recommend to another family. My floors look great!

Alpine cancelled a job after taking my clients gave a deposit of 50% a month earlier. This occurred after my clients waited for weeks and rescheduled moving and other work to accommodate. I cannot recommend a company that operates this way. My clients gave a sig deposit without getting a contract from Alpine and when they requested one Alpine cancelled but has not refunded the deposit. Really bad and dishonest way to do business. Its standard operating procedure to have a contract and also to be able to ask questions. Possibly this was a job that was beyond Alpines skill level but if that were the case they should not have taken a deposit or made these folks wait for over a month, only to cancel. Do not use them!

Dear J McNally, we decided not to proceed with doing the project for your client. It was not a project that we wanted to engage in for a number of reasons. The process to return the flooring deposit was initiated the same day we cancelled the job. The deposit was returned in full through Square. Good luck with your future projects.

Mike and the Alpine Flooring team did a great job on our floors- we could not be happier. They used a water based finish instead of oil. They let us pick between dozens of stain colors from a palette and once we picked our top colors they put some on the floor so that we could see what they would look like once fully cured.

I highly recommend Alpine Flooring & Design. Mike and his team installed wood floors in our family room, to match the rest of the house that was installed 20 years ago. They took the time and matched the floors beautifully. I thought i would need new furniture when they where complete, but the wood floors have transformed this room! And the lower level carpet was ripped out with plank vinyl flooring installed in the work/gym studio. It too looks and feels amazing. I work from home, and the team was so nice and professional. I purchased a home in Downingtown, closing on January 8, 2020, and wanted carpeting removed and replaced with hardwood throughout. Mike from Alpine Flooring and Design provided an estimate which included all costs, the length of time to complete the work and was flexible to accommodate my schedule for a start date. The crews from Alpine were respectful, professional and courteous. It was obvious they were skilled in installing wood flooring and dedicated to doing outstanding work; the new floors are wonderful. The project was completed on time, even after at the last minute I added installation of fourteen flush wooden, stained to match floor registers. The only extra charge was for the addition of the floor registers; the rest was within the budgeted amount. They cleaned up after each day (even though the house was empty) and then thoroughly once all the floors were installed. My new home now has gleaming hardwood floors. I highly recommend Alpine Flooring and Design without any reservations at all.

Excellent job!! We had a bulit-in-bookcase that we took out and found there was no hardwood floor underneath. Mike found the matching floor and installed it in a timely manner. Very professional and personable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

There are a lot of wood floor contractor available. My husband and I owned a commercial construction company for 40 years and are experienced professionals. We recognize an excellent contractor. Alpine Floors does an excellent job, are polite and professional, handle any difficult problems with ease, are excellent problem solvers. I would strongly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed.

I used Alpine Wood Floors for a complete refinishing project of my entire first floor. I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. The contained dust system made a huge difference from the last time I had my floors done, and the attention to detail shows. In addition to the top quality work, everyone was extremely professional. The communication from Mike was excellent, and the crews showed up on time, were polite, hard working and did their best to accommodate my schedule. I would highly recommend Alpine and would not hesitate to use them again.

My wife and I were thrilled with the job that Mike and his men did on our floors--buffing and reapplying polyurethane. Most importantly, Mike was great about doing the work while we were away for a few days and coordinating with our housekeeper. When we returned home, we found beautiful floors with no chemical smell. Our housekeeper had high praise for Mike's workmen too. Prior to doing this work, we also consulted with another company who tried to convince us that the floors needed complete refinishing, which would have cost twice as much and with a lot more inconvenience and mess. We are obviously glad we didn't take their advice and listened to Mike instead.

Great experience with Mike Garito and his highly professional staff from Alpine Floors. We contracted with them to repair and refinish damaged floors on most of the main level in our residence. The entire process, from the prepping, sanding, repairing, staining, to the finish coating, was performed with skill and precision. The stain they applied perfectly matched our existing floors! The job was completed on time and on budget. Truly a pleasure working with these guys. We highly recommend Alpine Floors.
