Linn Engineering and Design

Working with Gail and Linn Engineering has been a pleasure. Not only has their expertise and responsiveness been exceptional, they are a pleasure to work with and always helpful. I would, and have recommend working with Chad and Gail to anyone.

When you start out with the idea of a remodel and renovation it can seem overwhelming. Where do you start? What can I expect? Are architects expensive? Its alot to navigate through. We found Linn engineering through alot of online research and contacting some of our construction friends. Linn engineering came up alot. We made an appointment and met Gail Preset who is one of the architects in the company. She answered all our questions, allayed our fears of how and where to begin. She drew us the add on to my husband's family home that modernized it but kept the charm of a southern rancher. We could not be more happy with the outcome. She was with us every step of the way and made excellent suggestions when I was stumped. The price was absolutely fair for the work and given all the help we've received, I'd have expected them to charge us more. We are still in the middle of our project and Linn engineering has helped our contractor with anything he has needed to push the project forward. I definitely recommend Linn engineering! Especially the jewel we found in Gail Preset!

Outstanding service. Deal was amazing and very helpful always there to answer a question when I had one. Mr Linwood professional and courteous and took on my project with nobody else had the time. I was a GC for my project and I ran into a bunch of stops Lin engineering was always there to help me along the way to finish my project. I would give more stars if I could.

In spring of 2018 my wife and choose Linn engineering and design to design remodeling plans for a unique building we purchased in MARION COUNTY FL. We're so pleased with their professionalism and commcation during the construction process. After many sheets of drawing paper throughout we finally came up with a rough drawing to present to Linn engineering to start the project that is now complete.

Creative, professional, and efficient. We cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Gail and the team at Linn Engineering. Whether it is a new construction, addition or remodel project, Gail takes the time to understand our client’s vision. She has the unique ability to translate those visions into the overall design. We are confident in referring our customers to Gail knowing that the home of their dreams is one step closer to becoming a reality.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I'm sure I wasn't all that easy to work with because I changed the plans "several" times, but Gail could not have been more accommodating or professional. I came up with the plan of how I wanted my house, and she worked with me to make it happen, offering suggestions and keeping me with code. Highly recommend.

We adore Gail- she is wonderful at her profession as well as professional and polite. We gave her a challenge and changed our mind on the plan several times and she adapted without complaint every time! We highly recommend her to everyone!!!

Gail is very creative, know what she is doing and was very helpful with ideas and suggestions. Quick to answer our questions and doubts. Our project is starting next week and we hope it looks as beautiful as her drawings.

In central Florida there are many contractors with cookie cutter house plans. But, I wanted to design my home based on my values and design preferences. I knew what I wanted and after meeting with Gail Preset, I felt confident that with her drafting skills and working knowledge of residential construction, I could provide a contractor with a set of Gail's plans, elevations, sections and details that met my needs. And that's exactly what happened. Gail was very willing to interpret my rough sketches and complete a set of documents, which I put out to bid to three contractors. The contractor I selected was very complimentary of her work. He used Gail's complete set of drawings for permits and construction. Construction started in Sept. 2016 and finished in Jan. 2017 within budget and only two minor change orders. I've been very pleased with Gail and would certainly use her again. Gail was fantastic in helping us plan our addition. She was so great to work with and never was impatient or unhappy with indeisions and changes we wanted. Very professional, responsive and a delight to work with.

Gail was great to work with in designing our new home. I had a footprint in my head of what I wanted. She changed and moved and shifted to get all the dimensions just right for me. I must have driven her crazy but she pleasantly stayed on course and created my little dream home. It has been such a pleasure working with her!

I was very please with the plans Gail drew up for my remodel. She took into account all my needs while dealing a house that was built over 60 years ago. She provided me with great ideas that I had not even thought of. The preliminary plans were drawn up quickly and minor revisions were made efficiently. The final product is better than I could have imagined.
