We have been privileged to have worked with Alex over the past 15 years on a new build and refurbishment. Alex has always been an absolute delight to deal with. She is very receptive to the clients needs and perspective whilst taking that to another level that only a person with true talent and an eye for detail can, whilst making the client feel comfortable that it fits with their personality.

Alex was great to work with and she left no stone unturned in helping us with our interior design and fit out. Alex has a great eye and a good sense of what works in a house. For our renovation she was able to incorporate practical design elements that are still visually appealing and ‘usable’ many years on.

What impresses me is there is no cut and paste with her interior design work, each project is specifically tailored to the client's personalities and requirements. It was a pleasure to work with Alex on the interior for our renovation. She guided and formalised our ideas, listening to what we wanted while adding her own significant expertise and flair. The end result was a coherent plan which made our renovation go smoothly, and resulted in an interior which reflected our personality and style of living.

We have worked with Alex in a do up and then a re build after the earthquake, and found her brilliant. We didn't have an open ended budget and Alex worked with that making sure money was spent with the biggest impact. Alex is a fantastic communicator and had admirable patience working with myself and my husband to get the compromise we are both really happy with. She definitely decreased the stress of building a house by having designs/decisions organised before dead lines. I love my home, the colours, the practicability of the materials used, furniture set up and flow. Thank you Alex I would recommend you to anyone and everyone.

We have worked with Alex for over 5 years now starting with the 2013 date below. We continue to consult whenever another project comes up (large or small) as we value her opinions, sensitivity, listening skills and professionalism so much. It started with major input into our EQ rebuild (technically 'repair' but red-stickered & reduced to wooden frame so no interiors and floors all ripped out too). Alex was invaluable in listening to our vision, understanding what would work best with that, giving us options and being phenomenally sensitive in managing differing opinions between my husband and I. She was able to provide a clarity of vision and concordance, with attention to details we hadn't considered and her professional co-ordination with others involved (builders, architects, electricians etc) enhanced the results for all. Investing in an interior designer - especially one as talented, professional, intuitive and sensitive as Alex - is utterly and completely worth while -

Alex has been our interior decorator for many years. She has been involved with four properties we have. Alex has the approach of a true professional yet has the warmth of a friend. She listens and considers the needs of the client rather than push her styling on them. Her designs choice of fabrics and styling is timeless. My husband has also used her commercially as well. If you are looking for an interior designer go no further than Alex. You won't be disappointed

Alex has an excellent eye for design, attention to detail and endless patience. She always listens to her clients needs. These qualities are essential for a good partnership and stunning design result. The use of an interior designer is the gum in the project and brings it all together for a successful outcome.
