We were extremely happy with the architectural services that dwellbeing provided. We were undertaking a kitchen renovation that required removing a back stairwell. Brent listened to all of our ideas and concerns and made suggestions to improve the design beyond our initial expectations. We wanted the functionality of a new modern kitchen but at the same time wanted to keep some of the character of our century old home. Brent did a great job of explaining the entire renovation process to us and provided architectural drawings for various layouts. He made expert recommendations for how to arrange and select the appropriate sized cabinets, sink and appliances. The unique value of his insight and recommendations became even more apparent when we started using the kitchen and realized how smart and functional the layout is because of his plans and recommendations. We have plenty of space for foot traffic and storage and everything you need always seems to be just an arm’s reach or 180 degree turn away. In addition to the design, Brent recommended a contractor that we absolutely loved. As you would expect with a home this age, there were a few unforeseen issues uncovered once demolition started. It seemed like any time something came up, Brent had already examined the issue, made the necessary phone calls and had a plan in place with our contractor by the time we came home from work that same day. We would enthusiastically recommend architect Brent Niese to anyone.

We hired dwellbeing to assist with plans to renovate our 1880's estate home that was in need of massive renovation. It had been chopped up over the years and served as a two family for a period of time. We wanted to open the home back up and bring the design and flow up to date without compromising the character of the old home. Brent and Sara did an amazing job coming up with many creative alternatives to achieve exactly what we were looking for. They helped us find a fantastic contractor (Jeff Meyung) and was always there as a resource during the multi year project. I can't say enough good things about dwellbeing. They are talented and incredibly easy to work with. Our vision for our home is now complete and we couldn't be happier.

We hired Dwellbeing to design our first floor renovation. The project included a full kitchen remodel, reconfiguration of some rooms, and enhanced functionality of our existing space. Initially, we were exposed to one of Dwellbeing's earlier projects in Cincinnati and saw the excellent results first hand. The home presented very well with attention given to every detail. When we were ready to embark on our project, we immediately decided to call Dwellbeing. From the first contact, they were very helpful and took the time to understand what we wanted. They didn't rush into the project, but took the necessary time to visit our house on several occasions, meet with us to discuss our wants and needs, and to understand our style. From there, they prepared several alternatives and met with us to walk through them. It wasn't that they just emailed them and expected a response, but they used the meeting time to answer our questions and provide suggestions/thoughts. Through construction and even after completion, Dwellbeing would check in to see how the project was coming along and ask if we have any questions. They didn't end their services when we paid the final invoice. If we were to take on another home improvement project, we would call Dwellbeing again in a heartbeat. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and do what it takes to provide their clients with top-notch service. They under-promised and over-delivered both on schedule and budget. Overall, the experience was very professional and pleasant! They are highly recommended!

I worked with Dwellbeing on a major kitchen renovation/expansion in my 59 year old house. We removed a wall, vaulted a ceiling, re-routed major plumbing and much more. The group is very knowledgeable. They listened to me ideas, took my vision and made it a reality. Brent & Sara came up with various floor plan options for me to choose from. During construction, when we ran into an issue, Brent worked closely with my contractor to find a solution that was safe, sound and stayed in line with the design plan. Brent and Sara exceeded our expectations when it came to redesigning our 110 year old home. They came up with ideas that we never even considered and created the perfect layout for our project. We engaged Brent and Sara of Dwellbeing to design a kitchen remodel and a new look for the front entryway for our home which was built in 1955. We interviewed 4 architectural firms and Dwellbeing was hands down our preferred firm. In addition to being very professional, their pricing structure made so much sense to us. Other firms wanted to be paid a percentage of the total cost of the project. Brent and Sara gave us an estimate based on the actual work they would perform. They then came to the house, took pictures and listened carefully to our needs and style preferences. They then presented us with multiple options that were all very creating and helped us to re-imagine our space. We talked about what we liked and disliked in the different options and they melded all of the feedback into a fantastic kitchen plan! Everyone who sees it comments of how it has totally changed the look and functionality of our home. We love it. For the entryway, Brent and Sara again came up with several very unique designs. We chose one the added an "eyebrow" archway to the roof line. It is a show stopper and many of our neighbors have stopped by to tell us how great it looks. Throughout the entire process Brent and Sara were so easy to work with and very responsive.

Brent and Sara helped up come up with remodeling designs for our two upstairs bathrooms including a master bath. This involved moving several walls, closets and going down to the studs to rearrange the fixtures. They were wonderful to work with. They really listened to our needs and ideas and then came up with several possible designs. Then we were able to refine the ideas to come up with a final project plan to take to our contractor. They were very responsive to all our requests and were a joy to work with. If we ever need design help again, I would not hesitate to call them.

We worked with Dwellbeing to assist with the design and layout of our kitchen remodel. Our house was built in 1936 and had a formal dining room and a wall that split that side of the house before you got into a cut off kitchen. Additionally, we were looking for a layout that would allow us to add a powder room on the first floor. Our project with Dwellbeing could not have gone better. After the first five minutes at our house Sara and Brent had proposed the best design we had seen to date. We had other designs in hand and their design was significantly better from a functional and overall look and fell perspective. They quickly fired up the laptops and created the CAD drawing they needed to get us a final design and electrical plan for the project. We were on a very tight timeline and Dwellbeing delivered exactly what we asked for. Additionally we had multiple contractors turn down our project, Dwellbeing put out the word to some of their trusted contractors and we were lucky enough to get connected with Wilson Custom Homes who did the kitchen remodel. Without Dwellbeing’s recommendation I do not think this project would have gotten done anytime soon.

Brent and Sarah were great to work with on the arcitectural portion of our home renovation. Brent came for multiple site visits and thought of ideas we never would have come up with !! In a short amount of time, they offered up multiple layout schemes for us to review. They were very responsive to our questions and prompt to make any changes we requested to drawings. Brent used his network to partner with a structural engineer and verify the changes we wanted to make were sound. We would highly recommend Dwellbeing for your design needs! They are top notch!
