Renaissance Design Studio has worked with Don Bamford since 2005 on both new construction and total renovation projects. Don is highly detailed and provides great insight and ideas as a custom homebuilder. We appreciate how attentive he is to his clients and they are always happy from process through completion. First thing to say is i was extremely impressed with D&W's attention to detail - down to the minutia, that normally gets brushed over. It is in these details that challenges can be addressed, before they become issues - which is the essence of what a contractor is doing - putting out fires and dealing with issues. In this way and due to his character, Don creates a job site that is both productive, fluid, harmonious amongst sub contractors and i am sure brings his projects in as close to anticipated schedule as possible. And he achieves this with a smile and a joke - it is a pleasure to work on his projects.

I have worked with hundreds of General Contractors in this and the Chicago area and Don is in my top 5 for General Contractors. He has always shown great attention to detail and has the knowledge to complete every project we have done for him from large Custom Homes to any type of remodel work. He has always shown a high level of Professionalism and fairness that is sometimes missing from today’s Contractors and that is refreshing to say the least. Don pays attention to all of his jobs and always makes sure everyone has a clear vision of the project at hand which results in projects completed on time and on budget. We first used D&W to renovate our condo on Lido Beach in Sarasota, Florida back in 2014. The level of professionalism and quality of work was outstanding. My wife is an accomplished interior designer and is very demanding. Not only did D&W exceed her expectations the management of the condo constantly complimented the D&W team for their work and presence in the building. Our unit has become the jewel in the building and we always get over the top complements. Since then we have used D&W on three other projects; another condo renovation, a house rebuild and finishing a newly built condo. Each one was done on time and exceeded our expectations. D&W may not be the cheapest on the market but if you want it done right you will appreciate the quality and value you get from each project.

Our company has been working with Don for over 15 years on various projects, all have gone as smoothly as possible. Given the scope of what his company does, he is one of the best in Sarasota county. My question to my clients at the end of this building process is, would you build with Don again, and every single client of his would most definitely would build again with Don. That, to me, is one of the best gages for choosing a builder.
