Design Trends Construction

Used them for couple projects over the years, they used to be good just focused on kitchen/bathroom. Now they expanded into full scope renos/builds, saying yes to any scope asked for just to get the job. Then they figure it out on the fly, make mistakes along the way costing us time and money, always have an excuse for the mistake. Nothing is on time anymore, lots of lip service from Brenton, even their own guys on site are fed up with the company. Sad to see this happen, lots of better options now.

DTC did an excellent job on my bathroom gut renovation. All the work went well and was excellent quality. Easy to work with and I appreciated the effort they made to keep the construction site and my home very clean during the entire process. I worked with my own designer and they collaborated completely with her. Would definitely work with them again.

I found them very easy to work with. They were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had and in picking all the different tiles I needed and they had samples of all the tile which also helped. Also the workers were very prorfional and neat in their work. Finally at the start of the job I was given a timetable of each phase of the work and they pretty much stuck to it and finished on time.

DTC is a great design and build GC. It all starts with the design. Brenton and Andrew (Designers) will bring new ideas that are progressive to keep up with the latest design trends. Andrew brings the design to life with 3D design drawings so I could visually identify what it will look like before construction started. They provide a project management time line/ schedule so you know when each phase will be completed. Justin is the finishing carpenter who has a great ability to customize any part of the project. I asked Justin to make multiple changes while on site and he was able to incorporate my ideas. All of the DTC employees and sub contractors are professional and work together as a team. It was a good experience and my remodel came out exactly the way I wanted it to. It looks fantastic.

DTC did a complete remodel of our townhouse kitchen. We had a very positive experience. They listened carefully to our ideas and offered suggestions. They did a good job, they were careful of our possessions. they cleaned up every day when they were done and stayed within budget. As we went along, we made some changes which were readily accommodated. We would heartily recommend DTC.

Breton designed my condo kitchen exactly as I wanted it yet stepped in to help me also avoid a bad choice. I loved being able to order the appliances I wanted whereas too many other designers push you to purchase their package. My condo resident manager appreciated seeing an approximate schedule to plan water shut off and elevator padding days. As an absentee owner for most of the year, communication by email and texts worked out plawlessly. I love my kitchen and couldn't recommend Design Trends more!

Design Trends did a kitchen renovation for us in 2014. We are so pleased with the results as they helped us achieve the quality, function, and look we wanted. The cabinets are of high quality and the installation shows attention to detail. They kept their workspace clean and there was a minimum of dust. The contractors, foremen, and assistants were all respectful, friendly, and sincere and demonstratedthat they were committed to excellent workmanship and service. Any home renovation is stressful, but working with them eased some of that stress.

I strongly recommend Design Trends. I had kitchen and bathroom remodeled with them and I love the result. I live in the town house so I needed to work with association for the plan, and I had trouble with. It took forever to get approved but Brenton was very patient and helpful to get through the process. He defnatary made it less stressful. I also love the people/subcontractors worked at my place. They are very friendly and informative. Overall, I had a great experience with Design Trends. I would defnatary call this company up if I need another project.

DTC helped us renovate the kitchen, the living room, and the dining area. They put us at ease during the entire process, were easy to work with, understood our budget, and provided an excellent design that met our family's need. Their construction personnel were very skilled, informed us of the work schedule daily, and were very attentive to details. They were respectful of the fact that we were living in the house during construction. I would use this company again and would recommend DTC to others.

We were assisted by Design Trends to re-design our kitchen and Family rooms at the same time. We already had an idea of what we wanted to, and Greg was able to accurately transcribe it to paper. He focused on the areas that were important to us and made them look or function better. Then he focused on areas we had no particular opinions on and made those look Designer made. We got so much more than we expected from Greg and his team at Design Trends. The costs were exactly as quoted from start to finish. Every team member was considerate of us having to still live in the house.

Design Trends proved to be a very reputable and professional contractor. They helped us turn our wishes and desires into reality. They really showed attention to all the little details and handled all the surprises that arise in a renovation.
