Design Tile and Flooring LLC

It's pretty rare for me to review a company, but be careful when doing business with Design Tile. I'm in Coeur d'Alene, which a year Design Tile advertised they did work here. Now, that doesn't appear to be the case. Pre-covid I scheduled a tile job, came to an agreement on a price and work, and paid a 50% deposit. It took a while to get on their schedule for the demo work, removing the old tile, but they come and did they did a quick and clean job. I scheduled the remaining trades to finish their bathroom work and planned to schedule Design Tile afterwards. Then covid hit, so I waited a while. During the summer I followed up to schedule a time to install my new tile. Toliy told me he would get back with me and I never heard back. I called a few months later and was told he had raised his prices while arguing that a invoice was not a contract. Well that's annoying, Toliy seems to not understand that a 50% deposit on an invoice is as good as a contract. Worse yet, he wanted 25% more for the same work that he had already been half paid on. I wasn't happy about the increase, but I wanted my work finished. He didn't seem interested in scheduling my job, and told me his crews were a month out - putting new customers in front of me. After waiting over a year, I wasn't prepared to wait one more month. Toliy offered, and sent me a check for the 50% deposit, not charging me for the tile removal work which was nice, but I'm extremely irritated my time was wasted - time that I won't get back. Toliy - I know you have plenty of work now, but when things slow down, and they will, remember those who you miffed.

Design Tile and Flooring LLC surprised me with their huge selection of tile! I found everything I was looking for at their store! I came with a specific picture of what I want, and since they know better where everything is places at their store, they guided me to the right kind of tile. I needed, put everything on the table together to make sure I like it, then ordered it! Their customer service is great! Very polite, respectful and patient with their clients. I had one of the best experience shopping for the right tile with them. They are full of great ideas about tile and would kind of guide you in the right direction if you kind of feel lost with such a big variety of tile at their store! :) Very responsive and always makes sure their customers are happy. The person who installed tile was very professional, understanding and fast! Very pleased with the work. I wish every contractor would treat their clients the way these guys do. I would definitely recommend them to everyone! Thank you Design Tile & Flooring LLC for doing such a great job, because of you, the tile in my house now looks amazing and looks like a master piece!

Not only did the extensive remodel of our two bathrooms, one powder room and laundry area surpass our expectations, they were completed within our budget, and as you can imagine that is a huge plus! We contacted Design Tile and Flooring about a quote to remove and replace a good section of our shower mud pan (installed 2 years ago by a totally different non reputable company) because it had failed and was leaking into our family room. Toliy cam out and after inspection the shower he was able to provide a less expensive and less invasive solution that worked!! This company is amazing!! He could have easily given us a quote for removal and replacement and made a lot of money. Instead, he demonstrated a rare and exceptional level of professionalism and provided a fast, cost effective, attractive solution. Design Tile and Flooring is the place to go in Spokane. Edward went out of his way to make us happy and work with with us because we are on a fixed income. Alex, our installer did a fantastic and very professional job. We would highly recommend these guy's.

Just finished a complete remodel on our main bathroom.The owners Toly and Edward were great to work with. The contractor Rick who did the install was outstanding. Gave us so many ideas along the way made are bathroom unbelievably beautiful. Couldn’t be happier.
