We worked with Denis on two projects at two homes. The first was a master bath remodel and the more recent project was a complete house remodel. He created stunning spaces in both homes. Denis was wonderful to work with. He really listened to our needs and wants and came up with elegant solutions to complex issues.

Denis is a brilliant architect and artist. We came to him with a concept for a new home in Eastside Costa Mesa, and he turned our vision into a masterful design. We are in the process of building the house now, and we couldn't be happier with the plans. As if his professional abilities weren't enough, Denis is also a pleasure to be around. He's down to earth and has a great sense of humor. He's available whenever you need him. Our general contractor has become a huge Denis fan as well. We were so pleased with our home designs that we just engaged Denis for our landscape designs. I couldn't recommend him more highly.!

My initial plan was to expand our kitchen and our master bath. Denis showed me a different way to look at the house and gave us options I would never have thought of. The result is a gorgeous house with a glorious master bedroom/master bath, an amazing kitchen and great room and indoor/outdoor living space. It is the perfect flow for how we live and entertain.

Denis worked with us on a plan for an entire living space remodel. He was very easy to work with and incorporated all of our ideas. We appreciated his attention to detail, and would certainly work with him again.

We contracted Denis due to our understanding that had a creative vision in working with unusally spaces. In the home we had just purchased they was a unique space/room that we wanted to turn into a bedroom and full bath but could not see how it could be done. I am a general contractor who has worked on numerous custom residential projects with Laroche architecture over the past 15 years. Denis has always been great to work with. During all projects there are changes that occur and Denis has always been very accessible and willing to listen to others ideas and do everything he can to keep the process moving forward. I was recommended by a friend to contact La Roche to provide me with architectural services. As a general contractor we went through a detailed discussion of my requirements. La Roche analized my requirements and provided suggestions that enhanced my request bringing it to a higher level in structure and asthetics. The city code and regulations were invstigated and applied. The turnaround time was short and the quality was excellent. La Roche is now engaged in my personal home expansion.

Denis is both a friend and an architect whose work I respect; both in his capabilities and his aesthetic sense of design. I consider myself very fortunate that he was available for the addition I had wanted to do on my Laguna Beach home, as it was not a complete new home design, which are the projects he typically works on. He did a great job in integrating the new design /construction with the existing, where each complemented the other. The process went incredibly smoothly, from the beginning, even with regard to the typical challenges everyone seems to experience with our local Design-Review Board, all the way to the end though final inspection. We continue to get compliments from visitors to our home and I am pleased to mention Denis’ significant contributions, and to recommend him for their projects.

We have worked with La Roche Architecture for over 20 years as an energy consultant and as MEP consultants on their projects. The construction documents that this firm prepares and presents is one of the best that we work with and we have many firms with which we consult. Not only is the design and implementation outstanding, but also a pleasure to work with. My husband needed help getting around in our house. He is in a wheelchair and they are hard on walls and doors. Our contractor recommended Denis La Roche. We met him and he immediately knew what we needed. His background in handicap accessibility was a lot greater than ours. He walked us thru the whole process explaining why things were put in and why certain things had to be moved. We are still being remodeled but eager to get home.
