Decor Direct Wholesale Warehouse

In February 2021 we purchased a live edge table from Décor Direct for $4,000. The table was beautiful and we purchased it as an art piece. In May we noticed that two butterfly plugs were starting to separate. We brought this to the attention of Anthony who said that the table moves over time due to humidity and told us to read the instructions that came with the table. In October the butterfly plugs were separating even more, one butterfly actually sank leaving rough edges that would cut your skin. I understand that live edge tables will adjust over time but it is obvious there are problems with how the butterfly plugs were installed. We contacted Décor Direct (Celeste) multiple times and even went to the store twice and were told to go to Home Depot and purchase wood filler, sand it and fill in the gaps ourselves! On our last visit she told us that it would need to be brought in (at our cost $200 each way) and the top could be sanded (at our cost). The table is only 8 months old. I guess Décor Direct is a great company when you want to buy something but not so good when there is a problem. Apparently they do not stand behind their products when there is a defect. Buyer beware. Anthony’s a great salesperson, but don’t be thinking you’ll get to talk to him without an “appointment” after the purchase!

After a few visits to DECOR DIRECT WHOLESALE WAREHOUSE and seeing some great live edge products, I decided to incorporate one in my next project. An tall 12’ accent wall. I drew up my plans with measurements and worked with Celeste and Anthony on a 4” thick, 8 1/2’ long live edge slab of wood. There was some confusion on the width. But no problem, I could easily cut it to the install size. My original plan as a long shelf, was to take advantage of the deep gouge in the wood knot by pouring a beautiful blue epoxy. Then fully coat the entire shelf in a thick, clear 2 part epoxy. It’s a great designer effect that draws attention. While preparing a full length 4” cut for the proper width of the shelf, we flip the heavy slab and discovered an incredible wood grain on the other side. Our plan just changed. This would now be the top surface. There was no way we could hide that beautiful hardwood grain on this living edge slab. The knot with the gouge will now be on the bottom. No waste here. The 4” x 8.5’ cut was used as heavy duty shelf bracing on the installation. After sanding, the shelf surface received a latex stain to highlight the beautiful dark grain. The next several days were used to pour 4 clear coats of the 2 part epoxy. The results were excellent with a thick, clear bar top coating. The slab took 4 men to set in place. We installed multi-color stacked rock in the full arch wall cut out. Finally placing the huge 4K flat panel TV on an articulating wall bracket. With the down fired can lights, the dimmable LED’s help the showcase the stacked rock and beautiful wood shelf. Thanks to DECOR DIRECT WHOLESALE WAREHOUSE, this project turned out great. We’ve had several compliments from neighbors and friends. Several are waiting for the COVID-19 lock down to end so they can visit DECOR DIRECT. If you haven’t visited DECOR DIRECT WHOLESALE WAREHOUSE, put it on your list. Look at their great live edge furniture and available wood slabs. Come up with some ideas on how you too can create a great project.

Paid a designer to come to the store to choose a slab dining table with me. Table was to be made to her specifications. Sub-par finishes on a very expensive slab table that was 3 inches above standard height. On one edge, there are cracks in the slab that should have been filled (catching on clothes) and paint/stain that wasn’t rubbed off that dried in large white splotches and was then sealed. When brought to their attention via text (with photos) on the day of delivery, they offered to repair at MY expense for $950 (including $750 for transportation fees). Contacted them several times with no resolution. I took the table legs to another company and had them shortened to correct height. I’ll be fixing the other finishing defects myself. $120 vs. $950, although it should have cost me nothing, if they stood by their product. Our follow up communication has devolved into outright lies that they told me things that they never did. Incredibly poor customer service, dishonest practices, and subpar finishes. Buyer beware. Lesson learned. I won’t purchase from them again, and neither will my designer or anyone in her large network of professionals. Such a shame I can’t recommend them, because it’s a lovely table that would have generated them more business if only they had handled it correctly.

I have bought multiple furniture pieces at Decor Direct over the years, but I have to say that my absolute favorite is my dining room table and bench. I receive so many compliments on how gorgeous the table is, but also the quality. The table and bench are very sturdy! I will be returning for my next purchase!

My wife and I purchased a live edge “river” dinning table and we could not be happier with our purchase. It’s an exceptional work of art and a show piece in our new home. Everyone who visits our home pauses in awe and amazement by the beauty and uniqueness of the table. Words like “INCREDIBLE, STUNNING, OH MY GOODNESS” are typical in the average 5 minute conversation about the table; with follow up praises. :) If you haven’t visited DecorDirect, you are missing out. They are artisans, are the best by far at what they do, and their unique “one of one” items are works of art sourced locally and globally!! To the naysayers, Thank you!! Thank you for passing up the opportunity to purchase an incredible dining room table, that is truly a work of art and one that my family will truly enjoy for generations. ;)

This is a FANTASTIC store! Tons of great, unique items that one could spend hours looking at. Everything from the practical to the eclectic! My wife and I went to this store three times in a week and finally decided to buy a wonderful piece for our kitchen. Anthony and Celeste (the owners) were a pleasure to work with. Their staff was super friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this business! Go and see for yourself!!

AMAZING quality!! We purchased a coffee table which turned out to be a work of art. We are the total envy of our friends and family. If you are looking for that perfect piece, with quality beyond comparison, DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER, go to Decor Direct. We are so thrilled with our purchase that we are going back for an end table. Truly can't begin to convey how beautiful these pieces are, unique seems to be such an understatement. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out immediately!

A lot to take in BUT... The warehouse here is amazing, but if you want to buy something be prepared...to wait a VERY long time. We went in October 11th and put in an order for a slab (and were REQUIRED to pay a deposit). We were told it would be a 2 weeks and they would call us to let us know when the "slabs" would be in so we could come look at them and pick our slab out. 4 weeks later, I started calling and emailing to find out where the slabs were. When I called, we were told we could come see them that weekend, (this is a big deal since we need a babysitter since they don't allow children). We arrived to find ONE slab to look at, not the several options we were told. Celeste explained she had several more at her warehouse and would unwrap them - not sure how it went from "several" to "one" I asked her to send me pictures and if there was a photo I liked, I would drive up to finalize it in person. A week went by and I had to email her again to find out where the pictures were. I finalized the project on 11/24 and explained we were having a large party on December 5th and needed the table before that time - after all we had come in October 11th and put the original deposit on the table then. She stated it would not be a problem. We agreed that the cut off from our table, would be purchased as a bench for $350. I called again regarding our table and was told it could be delivered by the December 5th timeline, but the bench would not be ready. I have in emails that we stated wood legs similar to the table, and bench height (24" high). The table was delivered with the underside legs not properly attached - and they tilt or bend creating a safety issue with the table. I have emailed repeatedly about this, and never received a reply. Even the driver commented that this was not enough for the legs to hold the table top. Celeste and I have emailed repeatedly about the bench since December, it is now end of MARCH and I still do not have the bench, and she is not returning emails at this point. I called several times, and emailed her - she is always busy with a customer and states she will call back, and does not. I have saved all emails, and emailed her again today to try to find out where my bench is. If you are going to purchase from this company, be prepared for a lot of waiting, and a lot of follow up to see how things are coming along. They do not call when they say they will, they do not offer what they said they will, and once they have your money it appears they are finished with you. Can't get my bench, can't get returned emails. I also had a complaint about the finish on the end of the table where they cut off the piece as it, is shinier than the rest of the table and really stands out. For a $1900 table, I would expect a lot more. I gave 2 stars because we love the table - even though WE are going to have to make some sort of safety arrangements so it doesn't fall and crush our feet and it needs to be buffed out on the end where they cut it. If I had to recommend, I would say find a different store that offers this type of merchandise, for the price, it was not worth the aggravation.
