It was a pleasure working with Colin and his team on the renovation of my West Village apartment which included gutting & renovation of two bathrooms, closet design, recessed lighting, new baseboards, painting. Colin is very organized, efficient and the quality of work was excellent. I appreciated his sound advise on design, and excellent team of plumbers, electricians, bathroom tile installers, carpenters and painters. Highly Recommended.

We just completed a massive gut renovation of our Co-op apartment located in Sutton Place which we recently purchased. The work included, but was not limited to; layout reconfiguration, installation of new kitchen, completely remodeling bathrooms, all doors, trim and hardware throughout. We were introduced to Campbell Design and Construction, Inc. through a neighbor who had previously worked with the firm for their renovation. The firm was the general contractor for our renovation and it is headed by Colin Campbell who very diligently supervised all activities of sub-contractors, completed the job on time, and within budget. Colin Campbell is extremely patient with and considerate of the impact of a large renovation on all constituencies such as building management, superintendent, and neighbors. He is meticulous and takes his responsibilities seriously and occasionally provided us with design guidance. Above and beyond all these qualities, the firm workmanship is outstanding. My 105 year old house is in a historic district. I have lived in the house for 46 years and have used various contractors for various projects. My selection of Colin Campbell of Campbell Design and Construction far exceeded all past experiences. His knowledge, experience and thoroughness in examining existing conditions allowed meeting deadlines and keeping within budget. His workers are exceptionally skilled and possess a high work ethic. The skill and ability to save the original outside door was a rare accomplishment. Discovering the underneath deteriorating supports of the house porch and the quality of redoing the entire support system was a herculean job that was completed to perfection. In addition, replacing concrete paths and applying new beautiful pebble materials to prevent future rotting in specific areas around the house were discovered and suggested by him. He also responds in less than 24 hours to any concerns the client may have. I will only hire Campbell Design and Construction for all future work.
