Cillesa Interior Design & Space Planning

Cillesa brought her talents to my home and saw that my space needed a unique style. Cellesa, you nailed it!

We can not say enough about Cillesa's design and planning help! We had worked with her on an almost whole house remodel about seven years ago. All went really well and what we truly appreciated was overall attention to detail and complete style elements that she naturally and ambitiously put into perfect balance. This carried over to our recent bath remodel (which we had postponed seven years ago) and tied in perfectly with our original remodel. It was like we just picked up where we left off! I have worked many years in real estate sales and property management and can not tell you the many, many times I have encountered terrible upgrades and updates. With our home remodel, I was very sensitive to this. For lack of a better term, the "hodge podgey" inconsistent, poor overall quality and final result was not acceptable. Not an issue with Cillesa! On top of it all, Cillesa is a pleasure to work with. We really enjoyed the great collaboration and respectful coordination. Many thanks as always to Cillesa!

I have worked with Cillesa on a number of projects at my home over the past 10 years. Each project has had it's unique requirements, from simple requests to select colors, fabrics, etc. for a light spruce up of a space to a full kitchen remodel that Cillesa designed and managed for me. My goal with each project has been to hold true to the mid-century modern aesthetic while updating my home room by room. Cillesa has always listened and brings this same appreciation to her work. Cillesa's attention to detail and her ability to problem solve in the moment are two capabilities that I've come to greatly appreciate as we've worked together over the years.

Cillesa is amazing! She's a wonderful listener. She heard what we wanted to accomplish with a remodel and is making it happen! She has an organized approach to the entire process. We started with our ideas which turned into her design ideas (she gave us 5 layout options for our kitchen and had a strong list of pros and cons for each). Once we settled on a design, we started picking out cabinets, appliances, stone, etc. Cillesa presented us with a few options at each stage of the process. We appreciated not being sent to the tile store to choose something-we never could have done it on our own. Instead, she went with us, showed us some options and also had us wander around and see what struck us! Cillesa has had helpful and practical advice about anything we have questions about. Definitely allowed the project to be what WE wanted since WE have to live in it, but we always knew she wouldn't let us go astray! And she's just an all around nice and good person! A pleasure to be around and work with! We couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Cillesa.

Cillesa was an invaluable partner during our whole home renovation. With this being our first renovation of any size, it was important that we had someone who not only would help us with the layout and design but also be a guide on the full process. On top of Cillesa’s core design skills, her focus and dedication made us feel confident that the renovations would be the right choices, and we’d be happy with them for years to come.

Cillesa designed and managed a complete kitchen remodel for us and the results were nothing short of fantastic. Her attention to detail and creativity solved many difficult problems with the space and created both a great looking and functional kitchen. She also recommended a great general contractor and other suppliers and managed the process with them smoothly through the normally encountered issues with any remodel. We are now buying a new house and look forward to working with her again to make it the perfect place.

Cillesa is amazing. She is incredibly organized and highly efficient. She took our enormous project (a complete house gutting) and broke it down into easy to make decisions. She didn't let us get off track or wander down design tangents which, honestly, did a lot to keep our project on time and budget. I love everything about my house- the colors, the materials, the clever design touches. The only "mistake" is that I refused to listen to Cillesa and insisted on only one sink in the master bathroom. I think about the dozens of places she saved me everytime I wait for my husband to finish brushing his teeth!

Cillesa is a true professional! She's highly experienced and very creative in both interior design and space planning, and brings fresh ideas to everything she does. She worked with me on multiple projects, and most recently my kitchen and family room remodel. She works very efficiently, is decisive, and also a good listener. I truly appreciated her ability to understand my style and ideas and then create a space that I couldn't be happier with. Her attention to detail is impressive, and took a lot of the stress out of day to day decisions. Finally, Cillesa is highly respected in the industry, and has great contacts for just about anything.

Cillesa is an awesome designer. Great to work with, and great connections for contractors and sub-contractors. Superb results. We worked with her to completely remodel our 1993 home in Upper Rockridge in 2019-2020. We couldn't be more please with the outcome. :)

I met Cillesa in June, 2019. I was referred to two different designers through my cabinet maker and I ended up choosing Cillesa. Right off the bat Cillesa was friendly & engaging but without seeming at all fake. I also instinctively trusted her. I found that we worked really well together and actually have very similar tastes. She would take me to showrooms with her which I really appreciated, as opposed to just pulling a few samples and having me choose between them. Cillesa breadth of knowledge is quite remarkable. I always assumed that for the most part designers handle the "fluffy stuff". This is not true with Cillesa...she has a wide variety of knowledge including electrical, plumbing, architecture, etc. She can come into a room, glance around and immediately be able to tell you if something has been installed improperly or what is missing. She and the cabinet maker Steve work wonders together...they can hash out cabinet placement down to the millimeter. In addition to her natural talent of all things design she is a pleasure to have around. She handles problems (of which we have had MANY) with grace yet also gets her point across without seeming rude. This is very helpful when it comes to the many subs we have had working on our project. She is fantastic at project management as well. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her, she checks in regularly and is always on site for any deliveries and/or installations like flooring, cabinets & carpet. She deals with all of the vendors and keeps on top of orders. She actually comes in our garage and labels all of the boxes by room which have been shipped to our home. But with all of that being said, the moment I realized that Cillesa is a true treasure was Christmas Eve. We were way behind schedule but had already committed to our friends and family that we would host Christmas Day. Cillesa spent much of Christmas Eve day at our home cleaning and preparing our home for guests. If you had seen our home that day you would have thought it was an impossible feat. But Cillesa used her own personal time to help make it happen....she cleaned, moved furniture & actually pulled up an entire roomful of protective sticky tape off of our living room carpet. She goes above & beyond and is truly a remarkable person. My husband and I highly recommend her...she's the best!
