15 years ago, Carol helped us with our brand new home. And now that the home is 15 years old it needed updating and of course we called Carol! She has the best taste and nows exactly what to do. My husband and I are thrilled with the new configuration for our library that Carol designed for us is . There has always been something off in this room, and we weren't quite able to put our finger on it. Thus, we hardly ever used it, a shame considering how modestly sized our house is. Now my husband and I can read together on the love seat and enjoy the views outside as well as in the adjacent music room. It is a though we have added 25 percent to the size of the downstairs. Before adopting Carol's design plan, we were resigned to purchasing an expensive hand-knotted 8 x 10 rug which would have been a huge mistake and likewise recovering the same two chairs, still ending up with a bad situation. Our thanks to Carol for all she has done for us. We are so appreciative for her interest as well as being the beneficiaries of superb design skills. It has made all the difference for us.

We worked with her in acquiring one of her clients a beautiful custom freeform coffee table. She is so pleasant to work with and very professional.

We have been working with Carol for a year and a half. I like that she works at our pace as our budget and time allow. Her assistance picking out both interior and exterior paint colors has been invaluable.

I worked with Carol on various projects from April 2006 until we moved in March of 2014. Our first and largest project was a complete remodel of our living, dining and foyer areas which included carpeting, window treatments, paint, upholstery, lighting, wall hangings and accessories, and a few new pieces of furniture including a custom made sofa. What we love most about working with Carol is her immediate sense of what are tastes are. She was able to incorporate many of our antique and vintage pieces of furniture into her design. The result was fantastic and there was not a single element of the final design that we didn't love! Carol has also helped me with numerous projects including an extensive master bath remodel. I would strongly recommend her. First of all, she has excellent taste, great ideas, and is a very knowledgeable designer. She has excellent business practices, she manages her suppliers, arrives on time to all appointments, is very responsive and most of all, is fun to work with.

This is the third time over 16yrs that I have used carolmickey.com for design work. She is always dependable and thorough. The work this time is drapery on a large bedroom bay window.

My husband and I bought a new home and completely gutted it. We had no idea what we were in for and quickly were overwhelmed with all the decisions that had to be made. We hired Carol to help us decide on tile, cabinets and also design of the kitchen. We were very lucky to have hired Carol when we did because she suggested a different tile than what we had orignally picked out and it was a perfect suggestion. She also picked out the tile for our bathroom and shower and we love that too. Carol referred us to her cabinet guy and he was also very helpful and professional. We purchased our kitchen, bathroom and laundry room cabinets from him. She helped us thru the entire process and was always available to talk or meet us somewhere to look at other items. Carol is all about understanding what look you are going for and providing ideas and suggestions. She is very professional and patient and we really enjoyed working with her. We still have a lot of work before our home is complete but we are handling it in stages and will look to work with Carol as we work thru the rest of the projects. We highly recommend her!

I needed an interior designer for two primary reasons: To assist in interior design ideas and to have a team of accomplished craftsmen to execute the concepts. In our absence, Carol has allowed us to achieve our objectives by handling all aspects of our condo renovation. Her great organizational skills keep our projects moving in an extremely timely manner, as well as keeping track of all details, whether large or small! She does an excellent job of collaborating with my ideas which results in achieving our vision. I would highly recommend Carol!
