Cahill Design Build

We started engaging with Chris in February, we really liked the direction he was headed in with the master bath and kitchen ideas. He presented us with a contract, when I asked for three references, a cabinet sample and the possibility to view a completed project, he stopped returning our calls, and emails. We would understand if this wasn't the right fit - but the problem is he still has our original architectural plans. I have been trying since Feb to have them return them to us to no avail.

Our relationship with Cahill Design Build dates back over 20 years with Mr. Cahill's original company Botanical Decorators, Inc.. Based on the excellent exterior work performed by that company through the years with two different properties,, when we decided to undertake significant interior renovations in the home we purchased a few years ago, Cahill Design Build was the logical choice. Cahill Design Build has lived up to every expectation we had and then some! Mr. Cahill, along with his lead Interior Designer, Kerry Ann Rodriguez worked with us to design and build our dream kitchen in early 2015. Later that year, as a result of their quality service and craftsmanship, they completed a small spa-type bathroom in our basement gym area that includes a steam shower and custom fit sauna. We are currently working with them on a design to renovate our master and guest bathrooms, and walk in closet. Their in-house custom cabinetry manufacturing is of the highest quality; this ability to customize as requested makes the renovations very personal and allows so many choices when deciding which options are most important to the homeowner. The renovations for both projects were completed on budget and on time, and any adjustments to the original design that resulted because we wanted to make changes were discussed so the change orders were very accurate from a cost perspective. We have found their direct hire work crews to be skilled and trustworthy. With regards to customer interaction, both Mr Cahill and Ms. Rodriquez are the real deal when it comes to their professional skill levels, their creativity, and their ability to really listen to what the homeowner desires. They then turn those ideas into a breathtaking (and we do not use that term lightly) design, that in turn become spectacular room(s). Their attention to detail in their designs - whether it be color schemes, material choices, room functionality, quality appliances, or decor suggestions- is most impressive. Ms Rodriquez, who, as the Interior Designer is the person we most often interact with, is very impressive and very approachable. She is easy to converse with, and is conscientious in overseeing all aspects of the design, product ordering and actual construction. She and Mr Cahill help the homeowners look at multiple possibilities when designing a room and offer excellent suggestions. Also, it is obvious when seeing Ms. Rodriquez, Mr, Cahill and the foreman we have come to depend on, interact regularly on our projects , that they respect one another and enjoy working together, thus forming a well-functioning team who provides excellent service to the homeowner. The subcontractors and suppliers they use for specialized portions of the projects are also well vetted and are selected only because they are highly skilled and provide only the highest quality finished product. Many have had long relationships with Cahill Design. We always appreciate how responsive Mr Cahill and especially Ms Rodriquez are to our queries, questions and/ or concerns at every stage of the overall design/renovation process. The service is very personalized, and they often go above and beyond for their customers. We have both referred Cahill Designs to others, and have willingly provided references when contacted by other potential customers. An added bonus in hiring Cahill Design Build is that through their second company, Botanical Decorators, Inc., the exterior of the property can be designed/developed as beautifully as the interior of the property, with all the above mentioned excellent professional design and project management capabilities.
