Floor Magic is a full-service flooring retailer, selling all types of flooring and tile, servicing Midcoast Maine. With over 30 years of successful customer service and innovation with new products that have been tried and tested. Our installation crews are locally-based and have combined experience of over 100 years. Owned and operated by Bob and Doreen Duke since 2005, Floor Magic is well known for their personalized service and attention to detail. Design center assistance is available along with a huge selection of flooring samples available at both locations. Customers will find the largest selection of hardwood, and engineered woods from around world, as well as laminates, tile, specialty flooring and carpeting of every type. They laid down cushion and new carpet as well as under-lament in our church and leveled and put down cushion step in our basement. They worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job in a timely manor. I would recommend them a any time and for any job. The Waldoboro Word of Life Church

Was not thrilled with service beyond point of purchase. Bob Duke's only interaction with us was when we called to express our dismay over him taking the installer off job repeatedly. The job overlapped into three working weeks, making it avoidably disruptive. No inquiries as to whether we liked the job, or a visit to job site for inspection. The saving grace was a hard working installer, Darren, who diligently worked his craft, and Amy at the office who helped straighten out the original billing that was inaccurate. There were no deals to be had at straight showroom retail. No volume discounts were to be found. Would have appreciated at least floor preservation tips, from the owner, on a five figure job. That being said, the Red Birch hardwood flooring is beautiful and installed by a man who takes great pride in his work. Service from the owner was non existent.

I had a very positive customer experience at Floor Magic. Amy was very informative and helpful with the choosing & purchasing process and was especially attentive in assigning a carpet installer and date. Craig did an excellent job with the installation and worked quickly and professionally to make it 'just right'. Bob, the owner made a quick stop during the installation to assist Craig briefly and check on the project. Thank you, everyone!

Bob's installers were considerate, diligent and cleaned up after themselves every day, no mean feat in a renovation project. We look forward to living with our new floors.

Floor Magic has been a part of 3 projects at our home - carpet, cork flooring and Marmoleum. Every crew has been excellent. The office was easy to work with and the crew and materials arrived as scheduled. The skills of the crew - and their willingness to accommodate the quirks of an old house - have been great. I will continue to hire Floor Magic and highly recommend them!

Bob Duke helped us plan and install new kitchen cabinets and granite countertops. He was exceptionally easy to work with as were the tradesmen he sent to us. We are very happy with our new kitchen! We would definitely hire Floor Magic again and highly recommend them.

Bob Duke went out of his way to help us with our flooring and carpet projects. Great care was taken to meet our time schedule and the work was exceptional. The associated cost were more than reasonable and his customer service can't be beat. I would highly recommend Bob Duke's Floor Magic to anyone thinking of renovating or building a new home.

These folks were great to deal with. I had a relatively small bathroom floor project and they went out of their way to work around a scheduling problem that was my fault, not theirs. Their work was exceptional. I used their in house financing and it was very easy with zero interest. I will work with them again.
