I would not hire this company again for any renovations , The lady that did the order, did not listen, things got missed, and done wrong. The job drug on for months instead of days. The amount of times that the workmanship was so poor that they had to return to fix what had just fixed.

I personally wouldn't hire them again for renovations. Great if you just want cabinets. Not motivated for small projects to put the professional effort in and were not committed in a timely manner (personal opinion)

I am extremely happy with the renovation to my home. I had excellent guidance in the materials available but was provided ample opportunity to make my needs and desires known and they accommodated that. I have a Labrador so it was very important to me that the flooring would withstand the 'dog treatment' the result was beautiful and durable! The cupboards and kitchen finishes appears to have come out of a magazine from tile work to lights - all came together beautifully! I changed the amount of work several times but they were able to complete within a very reasonable timeframe. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

We hired Blackwood to renovate our kitchen counters. They took the old two-tier counter out and leveled it to make one large counter space. Its a lot more usable now as a place to sit and have breakfast or just a coffee. A way better arrangement. As well, the granite they supplied for the countertops is the full 5cm premium grade. They took us to the supplier to pick out the product we liked, and kept us informed of the status of the project every step of the way. No surprises. The contract was clear and readable, and they were also very flexible as to how to allow for a sink and faucet upgrade. They were great to deal with and their guys were the top professionals. There were even some nice touches added by the craftsmen in the end that we didn't expect, all in an effort to give that 'wow-factor'. So all in all a terrific experience and if we need to do any further renos, these will be the go-to guys.
