Laura Boyle, founder of Baxter interiors was a collegial member of our planning team for a new home. She coordinated beautifully with the architect and builder. Her prestigious education and experience showed immediately. She is a careful listener, innovative but will caution you from making mistakes...we were soon finishing sentences for each other. Fun to work with, a joy.

Laura is an incredible designer with a great eye and the talent to make your vision a reality. Not only does she have incredible taste and an eye for special pieces she is a wonderful to be around which is great when you are working on big projects. Laura has designed multiple spaces for my family from New York to Miami and has made each home unique and special. I highly recommend Laura, as her great taste, professionalism and creative eye make the job fun and enjoyable which is how it should be.

Laura began working with us via phone and emails before we moved from the West Coast to the Charleston, SC. She has patiently guided us in furnishing our new home with both new and old treasured items from our past. Laura's knowledge, eye for detail and ability to process our needs makes her quite exceptional.

Creative, wonderful to work with and really, really can stick to a budget. Laura decorated an apartment model for us and her work is spectacular. She exceeded our high expectations and brought a sense of elegance, calm and wonderful color to the unit.

Laura completely understood the vision for my apartment in Brooklyn and helped me focus it to create a beautiful modern space for living and entertaining. After her exhaustive research, she introduced me to fabulous brands and pieces that fit both me and the space perfectly. She helped to make the design experience especially pleasurable and exciting. Laura is a consummate design professional. I worked with her on interior design. From re-purposing storage items & updating current furnishings, to purchasing new ones, Laura’s ideas and ability to blend old, new, and repurposed, created several “new” rooms, which were contemporary and cozy. She was an irreplaceable ally as I was relocating to South Carolina from Washington DC. Laura helped me envision the end-to-end view from carpeting, lighting, furnishing, colors and patterns. She listens very well and is an expert at translating your likes & wants into a home, which reflects good taste and quality. What attracted me to her on Houzz was the quality of furnishings and variety of styles found in her designs, which ranged from classic traditional to a contemporary.

I hired Laura Boyle of Baxter Interiors to do a small design project in downtown Charleston and ended up trusting her to do on-site supervision of the entire renovation. At the end, Laura even found the perfect oriental rug to be the condo's centerpiece. She is that good! Why is she so good? Laura develops an excellent sense of her clients and puts it to work for them. She quickly developed a sense of my (understated) style and that simplified product choices and selection. ( Two days.) We were also renovating to accommodate disabilities and the possibility of a wheel chair. Laura personally insured that cabinets and appliances were easy-to-use from a sitting position; she then worked in lock-step with the contractors to insure that things like clearances were always maintained. Before meeting Laura Boyle, I was told that Baxter Interiors 'might be pricey.' Not true -- fees are reasonable and Baxter is totally worth it. And, if you believe that time is money, Baxter is the best choice you can make.

We had an amazing experience working with Laura! Laura took time to get to know my family and understand which furniture would fit not only our style tastes but also fit our lifestyle. We absolutely love the transformation of our living room! We have beautiful new furniture that is stylish, comfortable and enjoyed by the whole family. I highly recommend Baxter Interiors. Laura Boyle has impeccable taste and wonderful ideas and as a bonus is also a very nice person and lots of fun to work with. I hired her to update and freshen up several rooms in my house. Laura is prompt and attentive and respectful of budget. My completed projects are beautiful. Even though all of the good ideas were Laura's, it still felt like my space. It was exactly what I wanted. Laura was able to take my vague ideas and turn them into a wonderful reality.
