Having originally landscaped our garden back in 2005 we have retained Bartholomew Landscaping to maintain our garden ever since and have always found them to be professional, dependable and knowledgeable. On the very few occasions that there have been any issues or concerns these have always been attended to swiftly and to our total satisfaction and the team are always friendly and communicative. Indeed, this is very much a principal led business and the passion and professionalism of both the Managing Director and Maintenance Director is embodied in the culture of the entire organisation. We appointed Bartholomew to design and build the front and rear gardens to complement the Art Deco interiors of our house refurbishment after we saw a remarkable garden they had created nearby. They submitted a unique and radical proposal for our rear garden that exceeded both our house Architect’s and our expectations: Art Deco styling; Screening basement services while retaining vistas and use of the entire depth and width of the garden, Water and Fire features; Privacy from neighbouring properties without excessive shading of our property. They delivered all of this with perfect and exceptional stonework, metalwork (features, rails and gates) and planting, while managing the expectations of our Borough Council. We now have a garden that is stunning on first encounter, a pleasure to view and use throughout the year. We now employ Bartholomew to maintain this garden and two others around London. After our experience of Bartholomew, we should not wish to entrust garden design and maintenance to any other firm.

We selected Bartholomew Landscaping to carry out a complete renovation of our large city patio. Bartholomew produced an innovative professional design which took into account our input. Implementation of the design was then carried out promptly and efficiently to achieve an excellent result. From the moment that I met Barry Burrows, back in 2017, I knew I would be able to work alongside him. He had an in depth knowledge of plants and trees. Also a great eye and sense of style. Being the Headteacher of a nursery school with a large garden is a huge responsibility, but Barry and his team are always there for help and guidance. Our garden plays a huge role in the children's outdoor learning and we have always striven to have a garden rather than a playground.
