Arcadia Studio is a community of individuals inspired by nature and devoted to creating beauty and meaning through landscape design. We specialize in innovative landscape design, landscape planning and urban design. Our work strives to understand the nature of our connection to the landscape, and to create designs that are beautiful, sustainable and evocative. Our primary mission is to thoughtfully enhance the site and the architecture, whether in a traditional manner or in a way that steps outside that which is familiar.

For 18 years Eye of the Day has worked with Arcadia Studio on many, many projects. Their level of sophistication and the complexity of their designs shows through time after time no matter it is a small or major project. Their staff, from principals to project managers is consistent, cohesive and exudes collegiality. We always feel like we are part of a team when we work with them and strive to serve them in all instances and situations. One of Arcadia's strengths is their credibility and portfolio of past projects. They really know how to bring it.....

Commented: Does it grow in canada, or in what zone does it grow?We have quite a range of micro climates here on the Central Coast of Califoria and this Ceanothus 'Concha' does well in most of them. It is hardy down to about 10-15 F. http://www.smgrowers.com/prod...

Commented: What is the plant in the urn?The plant in the urn is a Pittosporum crassifolium 'Compactum' or 'Nana' It's goes by two names in the industry.
