A J Corby Constructions Pty Ltd is a private residential building company that is based in Bowral and services the Southern Highlands region. Specializing in Architecturally designed residential homes, alterations and additions. Projects ranging from heritage to modern contemporary, including small alterations to high end million + homes. The company was established in 2004 and has 6 full time staff. Director Andrew Corby has over 25 years experience in the industry with an advanced certificate in building supervision, Q license, scaffold license, bonded asbestos removal license, training in OH&S risk management for supervisors, current committee member of the Southern Highlands Master Builders Association. Staff qualifications include 2 holding current builders license and cert IV in building and construction. 1 with a diploma in building and construction. We are committed to training and developing our workforce and currently employ 2 apprentices. Previous achievements of one of our staff members during his apprenticeship with us include wining a bronze medal in the 2014 world skills Australia competition and selection in the BBM skilled futures program which included a scholarship to London to attend a leadership development course and a four-week international work experience program. Where possible we always use local suppliers, contractors and labour to stimulate and support our local community. We have developed great working relationships with our subcontractors and main suppliers and know that with their expertise and skills combined with our staff we have and can achieve a high quality of work We believe that instilling a sense of pride in our entire crew is essential to our business. Entering projects into the Master Builders Awards has played a key role in encouraging pride and striving to achieve a superior quality that will leave our clients very happy.
