Aluminum Fences Direct

Aluminum Fence Direct came through as promised. They were upfront with the lead times considering the supply chain circumstances, answered all my follow up questions which im sure were annoying at times, and provided professional service from start to finish. Mark was a tremendous help and helped me resolve any issues I encountered throughout installation. One panel was damaged during shipment (not AFD fault) and Mark made sure he shipped me the needed panel ASAP. I would absolutely do business with AFD again, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality fence at a fraction of the local competitors price. Thank you again Mark!

I placed an order through Aluminum Fences Direct on 4/7/21. It is now 09/13/21, and I still have nothing. They have delayed my delivery over six times! The first (3) delays were three weeks each due to “delays at the factory”. The fourth delay was 6 additional weeks. The fifth delay (two more weeks) was due to “equipment breakdowns”. The last delay (two more weeks) I just heard about on 9/13, was a lack of employees due to Covid. I completely understand delays, especially right now, being in manufacturing myself. However, the lack of communication has been awful. After each delay, I have personally had to reach out to Aluminum Fences Direct to get an update. I have permits waiting on the fence. I have concrete sitting on site (most likely bad now) which was purchased after I was assured they had two manufacturers of aluminum working on my order simultaneously and would have it after that “worse case” six week delay. And now I am going to be up against winter trying to get this fence installed. If communication was right from the start, it would have completely changed the way I handled and timed this project. I recently read on their website new commercial fence orders are shipping in 6-7 weeks, however, existing commercial fence orders are on back order. How does that make sense? So I can cancel, reorder, and get my fence faster. (Only problem is, all their prices are marked up since when I had originally ordered in April) Happy to update this review once I receive my fence based on quality, but for now they get zero stars because zero is what I have received.

Outstanding product and service. This is the second time I have ordered from Aluminum Fences Direct and our experience has been great on both occasions. We recently finished construction of our new home and added a pool in the back yard. We worked with the sales representative at Aluminum Fences Direct to select a fence that meets the national pool code requirements. We ordered about 250 feet of fence and two gates. The company can refer installers in your area, but if you are moderately handy you can easily do it yourself. My wife and I completed the installation in two weekends and saved more than 60% by doing the work ourselves. It looks better than similar fences installed by professional contractors at other homes in our neighborhood. The company was very responsive to our needs. At the last minute we decided to add about 6 feet to our fence line and the company quickly shipped the additional fence section and post that we needed to complete the project. I highly recommend their product. If you decide to install the fence yourself, you will only need a few tools - a level, electric screwdriver, jigsaw or reciprocating saw with metal cutting blade, and quick setting concrete. I also recommend renting an auger to dig the holes. You can get one at any tool/equipment rental shop.
