Anna Hoffman Landscape Architecture

Anna Hoffman opened her practice after working internationally out of San Francisco, London, and Los Angeles. As a landscape architect, she creates master plans for urban residences, large estates, farms, ranches, and resorts. During her 18 year career she has worked on presidential homes, royal palaces, private islands, and residential compounds. Each of her projects incorporates the unique lifestyle and interests of her clients and the different cultural perspectives for how outdoor space is perceived and used. Many of her projects take into account the needs of multi-generational families with large service staff and children of different ages. Designing the exterior to be an extension of the house, she is continually inspired to create successful and flexible spaces for outdoor living. Inspired by her travels, she has taken pilgrimages across five continents. Born and raised in California, she has worked on projects in Morocco, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Cyprus, Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, India, China, Brazil, the Caribbean, Mauritius, Mexico and Hawaii. She is intimately familiar with the coastal, desert, semi-tropical and Mediterranean plant palettes. Anna believes the best projects are a collaboration between designers and consultants who pay attention to detail and work together to create seamless indoor/ outdoor environments.
