Kids Bedrooms can be fun. This preteen bedroom design was create for a young girl in need o her own bedroom. Having shared bedrooms with hr younger sister it was time Abby had her own room! Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson took the box shaped room and added a much needed closet by using Ikea's PAX wardrobe system which flanked either side of the window. This provided the perfect spot to add a simple bench seat below the window creating a delightful window seat for young Abby to curl up and enjoy a great book or text a friend. Robeson's artful use of bright wall colors mixed with PB teen bedding makes for a fun exhilarating first impression when walking into Abby's room! Double story Master Bedroom with Canopy Bed

MOTIF transformed a standard bedroom into this artful and inviting home office with the potential of being used a guest room when the occasion arises. Soft wall colors, a textured area rug, a built in desk are counterpoint to a cozy sofa bench -- which doubles as a twin bed or can be transformed into a queen bed by pulling the pieces apart and reconnecting them in another configuration. It is a surprising and unexpected room and is both functional and beautiful.

In the master bedroom the clients did not want alot of fabric at the windows. Simple padded and upholstered lambrequins repeat the shape of the headboard. The 2" wooden blinds give privacy and sun control.

YWCA Women's Shelter remodel. A small space that had to include a bedroom and kitchen all in one room. The bedroom has a drop down desk to allow for more space when needed. A chest that doubled as storage, wall scones so you can read in bed and adds pleasant lighting. The kitchen area was updated with a elevated dish drainer to allow for more counter space. A beautiful Oak Annexe featuring a porch and french doors. The french doors allow easy access into the garden and help to extend the room. The log store provides a sheltered area to store wooden logs, bicycles or outdoor accessories, such as muddy wellies!
