The jewel in the crown of this small cloakroom space is the recycled glass basin. It is lit from within by LED’s that emphasize the luminous qualities of the material. Sheer fabric was laminated in sheets of glass for the walk in shower door. Taps are in chrome and leather.

Organic shaped chandelier and unique sunflower mirror work beautifully with the warm mahogany table and earth color silk chairs. Wonderful for cozy dinner parties. Photography by Robert Brantley.

This guest bathroom features carved wood scroll framed mirrors atop a freestanding vanity. Contrasting herringbone tiles bring accent to the floor, keeping the rest of the bathroom neutral. Jerry Hayes Photography

This master bathroom was totally remodeled from the 1980's. An unused outdoor balcony space was used to create a spa shower. New clerestory windows were added to bring in light and the blue of the sky. The dark wood cabinets contrast with the soft light cream limestone flooring, walls and countertops. A cool blue and green color scheme reflects the coastal beach community of this home in Solana Beach, California. A custom spa bench was designed and created outside the tub. Modern lighting was applied to the vanity mirror to create a sleek contemporary feel.

Lovely front entrance with delft blue paint and brass accents. Front doors should say welcome and thank you for visiting, I think this does just that!
