Understated planting consists of clipped Prunus lusitanica hedging, ilex crenata balls, grasses, hydrangeas, alliums,peonies and ferns. Five Catalpa bignonioides 'Nana' and an Amelanchier lamarkii add height to the planting and together with the hedging, divide up the space. A shed and log store are disguised at the back behind batten fencing.
