Open living and dining room gives an unobstructed view to the rear yard through large French doors. A continuous wall of built-in cabinets provides tons of storage with the stone wall and fireplace demarcating the two spaces. The ceiling heights have been raised two feet to ten feet overall creating a generous volume. The whole house is radiant heated using a Warmboard sub-floor product.

This stunning living room was our clients new favorite part of their house. The orange accents pop when set to the various shades of gray. This room features a gray sectional couch, stacked ledger stone fireplace, floating shelving, floating cabinets with recessed lighting, mounted TV, and orange artwork to tie it all together. Warm and cozy. Time to curl up on the couch with your favorite movie and glass of wine!

The living room projects a clean and minimal look, with a wall-mounted TV to further enhance space-saving. Instead of a conventional sofa, the two benches can be separated to offer flexible seating during friends’ visit. This arrangement fits Clifton’s flexible and functional ethos.

Location
The location of the wall-mounted TV should be the first thing to consider.
The most convenient position for wall-mounting a TV is directly opposite the sofa in the living room or opposite the bed in the bedroom.
Select a wall that does not receive sunlight. Direct or reflected sunlight on the screen creates glare and causes difficulty in watching TV during the day. Also, windows that let in bright sunlight should be covered with blinds or curtains.
